Great stay in a beautiful place! The accommodation was amazing! Only note would be to invest in a slightly softer bed - it was rock hard :P

What a beautiful, tranquil location. The house has everything one needs, and is lovely. We had a wonderful time of peace and quiet and thoroughly enjoyed the comfy beds, the birdsong, the verandah and so much more. You need your own DSTV card to watch any TV, but we did without. There is also no cellphone reception, but if you drive a bit back, up the mountain, the signal is perfect, hence not really an issue. Zanele left at 12:00, before our arrival, but we checked ourselves in without a hitch, thank you Jill!!

Phyll was an absolutely amazing host. She was super helpful with directions & extremely accommodating. We received such a warm & welcoming greeting from Phyll & her fur babies which we loved. The farm is stunning with amazing mountain views & a beautiful garden. Definitely had all the farm cottage charm. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay and will definitely be back again. Driving into Rhodes we were greeted with a beautiful, clean and quaint little town and very friendly locals. This is the place to relax, reboot, watch the stars, go for walks in the drizzling rain, and much more, and we got to do all of that. We had so much fun driving up and down some of the highest the passes in SA, experiencing much needed child-play, a little nerve-wrecking & lots of giggling moments, especially when the roads were "not so dry". See you next year Rhodes.

We were blown away by this charming Cottage. Every room is beautiful decorated and the pristine white linen and very comfortable beds were an extra bonus. The roses are blooming and it is a bird’s paradise. Jill is a responsive host. It will be a dream to stay for a longer stay, because it is very restful, safe and beyond beautiful cottage and town.

We took the "road less traveled" into Rhodes coming over Naude's Nek from Natal - a truly spectacular trip although having a 4x4 vehicle is essential. Rhodes is a lovely hamlet, the hotel provided an excellent, impromptu 5 course meal. Amazing stars!
