Very nice place in the sea, open ocean view, kindly owner and treat us as a family people, will go for holiday again next time.

Scenic: Really beautiful. Service: Pick up and drop off, play. Dining: Culinary and progressive spaces. Room: There is only fan, no air conditioning, if there is air conditioning, I can stay for many days. Bathroom: I can take a shower, the water is very cold, if there is hot water, I can stay for many more days. Diving: coral, small fish, worth coming, sea urchin, be careful. Special note: Wear long long clothes and long pants, pay attention to sun protection. Overall very good and very good value for money, will come again.

The trip was very nice. We where picked up at the port and had the luxury to rely on staff to fulfil all our needs and wishes (food, activities, information, whatever really!). Staff was very friendly and helpful all the time. We also had the chance to get its support with various activities on the islands, but what will remain the greatest memory is our snorkelling trip to the reef. Thanks a lot for the great time!

This unit is a very nice studio room with beautiful interior design. The host, Januar, was very helpful and informative. There is a plus about this unit, it has a security door lock which made me feel safe during my stay (1 month) as not many hosts provide this important additional layer of self-protection. As an Indonesian descent who has lived abroad for more than 3 decades, I love staying at Tokyo Riverside Apartment and for those who are a foodie, finding food is not a problem at all. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. It’s worth it! Thank you so much Januar - Millennium. All the best for you.

It is amazing, better than I expected, I love attention to detail in every aspect, from activities to do to facilities, the bed and pillows were very comfy. The staff was great, the food was healthy and delicious, a lot to choose from. And of course Saiful is very friendly and makes you feel like home! 1 night wasn’t enough haha

Desa Laguna really is a paradise desert island. It’s easily comparable to the Maldives in beauty and tranquility, just without the price tag. The photos don’t really do this place justice. The skilful craftsmanship of the huts is really impressive. Although rustic (there’s no aircon or hot water on the island) they’ve struck the balance of embracing the natural beauty of the island whilst providing comfortable accommodation. Canoeing and paddle boarding are included and they take you out to a local coral reef for snorkelling for free. The food is delicious. There was no need for shoes (aside from water shoes for swimming/snorkelling) and no room keys. Really can’t fault this place. It’s the perfect place to escape the busyness and pollution of Jakarta and completely unwind. There were just 5 guests (including us) on the island while we were there - so peaceful! I can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful stay in tidung lagoon. The staffs are very helpful and accommodating. Meals was served 3x a day. Our room was surrounded by crystal clear ocean water. with warm pleasant temperature. Easy to dip in even in the early morning. Spots for snorkelling was just outside the room. Room was basic, but we had a very good sleep with all windows open with natural breeze and the sound of the ocean very relaxing.

Had an amazing time at Desa Laguna Resort. The island is a completely different experience from Jakarta, and I was amazed to see the nature so close to such a big city; the coral and fish around the island seemed very healthy, the air was fresh, and we could see stars at night. The island is pristine and well managed, the food was great throughout our stay, and the staff was very accommodating. We would love to come back again in the future!

My stay at this Desa Laguna was truly exceptional and unlike any other experience I've had. Nestled on a peaceful island, it offered a perfect getaway. Feels like a second home. It’s a must visit in Jakarta. Not only that, its a eco resort. They built this self sustained island! From the warm reception and informative island tour to Saiful, the attentive manager, and the staff's meticulous attention to detail, every aspect exceeded my expectations. I'm already planning to return. The food was outstanding, making me feel right at home. Not gonna lie, my sister had 4 pisang goreng coklat; it was a great treat after snorkeling. We spent our days snorkeling, swimming, playing pingpong, and canoeing. With only 11 guests on the 400m island, our trip was incredibly tranquil. It’s very worth it for the price, given the location is very close to Jakarta main land, can't imagine going to another island after this experience. Thanks Roderick and team!

During my stay my host was Agnes. The place is as described, the service and food is really good. Activities to do and peaceful place. Great rooms! They were very accomodating to any request as well. I unfortunately had a medical emergency. I am super grateful to Agnes for going the extra mile to find help and communicating to my relatives overseas. I am back in Australia and recovering now and the story might be different if Agnes wouldn’t have helped me. I will be back for sure!

such beautiful place right outside jakarta. amazing views, sustainable living, heartwarming service, absolutely safe for solo female traveller, and last but not the least, delicious food, they especially catered to my vegetarian requests. I can't recommend this place enough. it like renting a private island on weekdays.
