We loved our 5 night stay at ‘Elvenhome’. It was a warm and cozy cottage with a lovely view over the organic orchard and gardens. It was a great launchpad to visit the local attractions like Cradle Mtn, Mole Ck caves, Trowunna Wildlife Park and the fairy penguin colony near Devonport. Graham and Kathleen were very hospitable, showing us around their farm and explaining their permaculture practices. Definitely recommend!

Just spectacular. We can't recommend Manna Hill Farm enough. The photos do not do this place justice! Simon and Eileen are incredibly thoughtful and so much care and attention has gone into making the cottages a wonderful place to stay. Its worth every penny and has the added bonus of Amber (a gorgeous Aussie Shephard) greeting you at check in 😊 Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

The stars, the peace and the wildlife.. this place had it all. We were in Tasmania to watch our son compete in a rowing tournament and picked the property because of proximity… but it was so much more than convenient… it felt like home. It was peaceful and super comfortable, have not slept this well in ages. Felt like visiting a favourite relative. Gen was a joy to communicate with and everything was as described.. the property is amazing, the walks so good and the tree house loved by Ms 12.

We so very much enjoyed our three nights in Mole Creek. Tracy and Simons home is a piece of paradise that they share with their guests. There’s two units attached to the end of the main home that have amazing views over paddocks and mountain ranges. The unit has plenty of space for a couple wanting time out with peace and quiet. The interior shows modern touches with a kitchen that is very well stocked and designed. The bathroom decor is modern and a great size for two. Our time spent here will always have lovely memories to share with family and friends.

This was my 5yo sons first trip and we absolutely loved our stay, my son was especially excited to sleep in the bunk beds. The place was easy to find and the check-in instructions was very thorough. Michelle was very lovely and messaged throughout the day before check-in to make sure we arrived safely. The kitchen was well stocked and even included fresh eggs and bread, I also loved the complimentary coffee sachet. The electric blankets on all the beds were also a welcome addition On check out we ran into Jason and had a lovely conversation about Tasmania.

One of the times I felt most welcomed in an Airbnb! Karen had the fireplace ready for us and sure to leave the place warm and cozy for us. You can truly feel how much she loves hosting and making guests feel at home with so much care and warmth. The photos honestly don’t do this place justice, it’s even cuter and more beautiful in person. And the mountain view? Absolutely stunning. I wish I could’ve stayed longer!

Melissa's beautiful country house is a little slice of heaven positioned in such peaceful surroundings! We absolutely loved our 2 nights here and were blown away by the quality and attention to detail of every aspect of the property. From the minute we walked in we felt right at home and we knew this country house was something special! High-end bed linens, plush towels, pristine clean rooms and little touches all throughout the house, reflective of Melissa's travels. This was a special 2 days and I can't recommend this country house enough! This was a great base for exploring the Cradle Mountain area and surrounds. The kids were excited for this stop on our trip for the pool and it did not disappoint, a great highlight with a stunning view of Mt Roland sparkling at sunset. John was wonderful with suggestions of how to enjoy the property including helping with platypus spotting and accessing the silver mine. A great spot for families with so much to enjoy 😉

The most spectacular view. Outdoor surroundings is second to none. Our kids absolutely loved it. Room decor might not be 100% our style but it’s just a personal thing. House was very clean and great amenities provided.

Moina is ideally located for accessing Cradle Mountain and the surrounds. This place was very peaceful and had everything we needed. Do heed the host's advice and make sure you bring all the food and drink you will need - as the nearest shops are not very near (although there is a cafe nearby that looked to do a good breakfast).

We stayed overnight before heading on to Cradle Mountain the next morning. The location is excellent which is only 45 min drive to get there. The place is off the main track but still easy to find using google map. As the closest town Sheffield is about 30min drive so best to stock up all you need and prepare your own meal. The place offers good facilities to cook your own.

We loved staying here with our two children - the location is fantastic with beautiful views from the house, which itself is a stunning historic cottage. The beds are v comfortable also. We walked to Alum Cliffs, which was glorious. We saw a platypus in the creek down at Mole Creek. Mole Creek caves are also worth visiting, most especially for the glow worms. Wish we had stayed longer! I can imagine a relaxing week in beautiful Tasmania staying here.
