Live like a Portland native for a short or long term stay. Park in the driveway and easily walk to every corner of the city. Original pumpkin pine floors, nine foot ceilings, exposed brick, and sunny southern exposure make this 177 year old Greek revival feel immediately like home. A recently renovated kitchen and bathroom offer modern comforts steeped in historic surround.
“Gary's place is outstanding. Just lovely. I got lucky and was able to catch a last-minute reservation after another guest cancelled. The space is beautiful and the history of the house is remarkable. I loved the location in the West End--about a fifteen minute walk down to Old Port, but in a beautiful residential neighborhood that was a much more charming and relaxing place to stay than a hotel right in Old Port. Plus, it's close to the crop of great food options in the West End (Tandem Coffee, the original Holy Donut, Chaval, the new Little Giant...), so you get the best of both worlds. There's a great little park in a unique setting about 30 seconds from the house, and there are lawn chairs in the house to carry with you to go to the park to relax, read, or just watch the gulls catch the updrafts on the Casco Bay Bridge. Gary also has a beautiful peach tree right outside the front door, just in case you're there during peach season. Can't recommend it enough.”

“We had a great time in Portland, ME staying with Peter and Julia! The rental is a cozy finished loft above the garage, with plenty of room to relax and a nice level of privacy. When we arrived, they had us all set up with a code to access the space, masks, hand santizers, a few local beers in the fridge and fresh cookies waiting for us on the desk! We were traveling with our dog, and felt immediately welcomed in by our hosts, there was no awkwardness about having our pup with us. We were well accommodated with room to walk him and dispose of his messes. We also enjoyed using the shared space of the outdoor patio to sit in the evening and relax after a day of exploring. A+ rating for making our trip comfortable and easy, even during a pandemic.”

“Thank you so much Debbie and Brad for giving me the opportunity to stay in your beautiful South Portland home! Portland and Cape Elizabeth are home to me and I was in the perfect place to see amazing views of Casco Bay...I was in Heaven! The sunrises were spectacular and I got up every morning to see and take pictures...I love how the sunrise shines right into your porch! Everything was so clean and you decorate beautifully! Your yard has so many beautiful flowers...amazing landscape! Thank you both again and look forward to coming back! Michael”
