Our home is a new family house on the riverside of the Kemijoki, 12 km from Rovaniemi. The house is in a scenic and spacious yard. We have all modern facilities. The house has automatic heating and air conditioning. Sauna, bathroom, free WIFI, washer/dryer, dishwasher, induction stove/oven, fireplace, etc. We have a large terrace facing the river. There is an open garage with a socket for the winter motor heating. House is excellent for families with children to enjoy different activities.

Pretty and cosy wooden cottage with sauna in peaceful environment. The cottage is located 31km from Rovaniemi city centre. Because of the location outside all the city lights, this is a perfect location to see the northern lights. The best chances to see the the northern lights is during a clear sky without clouds. There are also different forecasts that you can guugle to estimate the possibility of seeing northern ligts. There is a monument of silence built near by.

Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.

Saunan jälkeen pulahda hiekkarannalta Kemijoen raikkaaseen veteen. Rannalla toinen sauna sekä palju, vuokrattavissa erikseen kesäaikaan, sekä huvimaja grillauspaikka ja soutuvene. Big terrace and barbeque area gives for your staying more value. The interior of the cabin is decorated with Finnish design classics, and it is very cozy with all the household equipment needed. Je mets 5 étoiles parce que je ne peux pas mettre 6 mais ça les vaut largement ! Notre séjour chez Eija a été exceptionnel, elle est très accueillante et son logement est tout simplement fabuleux. La propreté est irréprochable, tout y est pensé et bien pensé. Eija a le soucis de chaque détail pour rendre le séjour de ses hôtes parfait et c’est réussi. Nous voyageons partout dans le monde et nous avons rarement trouvé un endroit comme celui ci. La vue et l’accès sur le lac sont un atout majeur. Nous aurions aimé rester encore et encore.

I highly recommend it, it's a perfect holiday destination, without any disturbance, quiet and beautiful. There is a small river behind the house, although it was still frozen when I came, but I can definitely imagine that it will present a beautiful picture in summer.

Mökki vastasi täysin kuvausta. Viestittely Jarin kanssa onnistui nopeasti ja vaivatta. Palju oli ihanasti esilämmitetty ja hän olisi tuonut lisää puitakin meille tarvittaessa. Mökki oli siisti ja meille kaikki tarvittava löytyi.

The host was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a personally prepared herbal tea and a thorough introduction to all the house’s facilities, both inside and out. He also shared many helpful and insightful tips for exploring the local area. The house itself was modern, well-equipped, and impeccably maintained, surrounded by beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. It was truly a perfect and unforgettable stay.

We had a lovely stay with our two children ages 1 and 3. Natalia went above and beyond with fresh flowers and groceries for breakfast, this was a really thoughtful touch to the stay. There were gates for the top and bottom of the stairs that gave us peace of mind with the children. The home is cozy and attractively decorated. The location is breathtaking right on the lake with an authentic sauna and barbecue hut available to use. We highly recommend this home and location if you're looking for a traditional private lake cabin. We really enjoyed the remote location, note that it is 20-30 minutes to Rovaniemi and as described, make sure to come with a vehicle that can drive on dirt and gravel roads.
