A great cottage for nature lovers! The house is located in quiet surroundings right by the water and has a great outdoor area (sauna house, outdoor barbecue area with large terrace, teepee). Inside, it is a bit outdated, but still has sufficient amenities and charm. The kitchen is very well equipped, ideal for self-catering. Due to the location on a small island, you need a car, but you get absolute peace and quiet.

My stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of incredible! Outdoor activities were endless, from drilling the lake for ice fishing to exhilarating Nordic skiing. Opportunities for adventure continued with fat biking, snowshoeing, and unwinding in the authentic Finnish sauna. Spectacular scenery surrounded the property, making every moment feel like a winter paradise. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, ensuring a comfortable and unforgettable experience - highly recommend!

a great place for those seeking peace and harmony. we slept really soundly inside the log walls and enjoyed the lovely river landscape so much. Lovely cottage and great setting to rest and vacation and best of all so close.

A dining area is presented with a large wooden table set for six. Soft, ambient lighting illuminates the space, while expansive windows offer views of a snowy landscape outside. Unique light fixtures hang above, enhancing the modern design of the interior.

A very nice house in a very quiet and beautiful location, halfway between Rovaniemi and Kemi. The sauna and Kota are amazing and awesome. The house is very well equipped and tastefully decorated. We were able to do activities nearby, snowshoeing in Kätkävaara, sled dogs and snowmobiling in Parpalandia, Finnish sauna in Kemi with swimming in the frozen Baltic Sea. It's also possible to see the northern lights from the house. A great stay and a beautiful house surrounded by quiet and serene nature. In addition, Marja was always super responsive to any questions we had. Many thanks to Marja. We loved this stay. Florence, Bruno and Mathéo

The place is just wonderful. It is located beautifully by the river, cozy and has a great sauna. Piia is a very nicesnd friendly host. Everyhting went easily with her since the booking, staying and checking out. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come again.

We had a wonderful winter vacation and stayed for a week with 4 adults at Hennas house. Everything is just as described and in the pictures. The house is well taken care of, it is quiet and the nature is beautiful and the house offered us many things to do in the evenings.

We enjoyed our stay! The hot tub and sauna were really great and it was very relaxing. The lock is a bit difficult to open but after a few times you have it out. The two cats are super cute and intimate, we really loved it. Big plus for the bedding, which was super fluffy and cozy. We will be happy to come back!

It's been fantastic to stay at Jukka 's cottage. This is a traditional Finnish architecture and design or layout differs a bit from usual fornal places that you can find everywhere else. The place is very clean, offers a lot of amenities and possible games. A perfect combo for a relaxing family stay!
