This was a great stay for a weekend away to celebrate my birthday with my husband. It was very quiet & peaceful, and the view was beautiful. We wish we could have spent more time outside to enjoy it, but it was just a bit too chilly. We did have an opportunity to sit by the fire pit and watch the swans! We found some good restaurants not too far away and overall we were very happy with everything. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome!

Great location at Chincoteague! Very clean, and amenities in this home are great! Kitchen is fully-stocked with all the basic necessities to be able to make home-cooked meals, even on vacation. My 5-yr old appreciated the toys and books available. My husband appreciated the milk steamer on the coffee machine. I appreciated the indoor wood shutters on the windows. Chip and Courtney is also very proactive and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again when visiting Chincoteague in the future.

Maria was very communicative and hospitable before and during our stay for anything we had questions about. The house was charming and was the perfect cozy stay during our March weekend at cape Charles! The beds are very comfy! Wish we stayed longer to enjoy more!

Christy's house had everything needed for a two night stay or even a month long stay. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood about a 1/2 mile walk to downtown, but just down the street from the water. The house has a really cozy and screened outside space which is perfect during summer. Overall, the house is small but lives large.

Very good spot for a small family trip to Tangier (I came alone, so it was more than enough.) The house is spotless, and Travis has some extras there for his guests (coffee, water, fishing rods, board games for young kids on a rainy day.) Travis also sent me the phone number for an evening ferry off the island, which was extremely helpful. I had a great stay at Travis' place, and would stay here again. I hope to soon.

We’ve Thought of Everything So You Can Relax!

If you want to get away from it all and feel right at home, this is the place to be. The house is beautiful, the rooms were all spotless and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped. I also loved the little porch and porch swing with a view of the pond. The beach and some good hikes (to see the ponies) are just a short drive away. Check-in was super easy with a personalized code. Michelle always responded immediately to any question we had. We really enjoyed our stay on Chincoteaque Island. It's unique place.

Sea Glass Cottage was a delight! The house was very clean, bright and totally charming! Doris has everything you could need for a couple nights or extended stay. I would suggest everyone who stays read her "Welcome" book. She has great suggestions for dining, sightseeing, art galleries, etc. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is VERY large. Onancock is a fun, charming town to visit. We will definitely return and, if Doris will have us, we'll be staying at Sea Glass Cottage. Thanks Doris for a great visit! Cheryl and Jerry

The home was spotless and very nicely decorated with a beach/seaside theme. It’s very close to Kiptopeke state park and several other points of interest. If you’re a kayaker, boater or an angler, this location is perfect. There are many spots within 10 minutes to launch kayaks or boats. Rural area but within 5 minutes of a convenience store and maybe a 10 minute drive to Food Lion.

I loved my stay at Barbara's little cottage, it is just the right size for one or two people and the kitchen is great , fully equipped, so I can prepare meals. it is local to Chincoteague National Park and to restaurants and gift stores. Barbara surprised me with a small gift under a small lighted tree as it was near the holidays and was very helpful with my every need. I will definitely stay again here next time I come!

We thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable, peaceful stay in this house and took advantage of the waterfront for fishing off the dock and canoeing in the bay. The open plan kitchen and family room were great for relaxing and the picture windows were spectacular. While the kitchen is well equipped for home cooking, we highly recommend a visit to the Merroir Tasting Room and Deltaville Tap & Rawbar.

Fantastic location! The place is sparkling clean & great for a family stay! Fully equipped with everything you need! Walkable distance to the beach and the best of it all is the golf cart rental offered! So worth it! Very close to shops & restaurants! There’s a beautiful park right by the property for the parents to enjoy a walk and kids to enjoy their time after a beach day or for early mornings walks!

A spacious home by the water. We celebrated Thanksgiving at this location and it was very special. The views are beautiful, had a fire right by the water and relaxed by the beach. A perfect getaway with family and friends. It has everything you need, the living room is super comfortable and great to relax with the family. The kitchen was spacious making it easy to cook and entertain the family. We loved the hot tub, playing pool and having family dinner. Overall a fabulous experience!! Great host- great communication. Highly recommend

This Airbnb was very convenient to Severn Yachting Center. We were able to work on our boat all day and enjoy being in a home at night. The area is beautiful and peaceful. Super safe area that is right on the water! Communication with owner was top notch! Highly recommend staying here!!!

Lots of space inside. Kitchen well furnished, with new appliances. Bathrooms were spacious, both with huge walk-in showers. Water temperature was lukewarm, at best. Water heater needs adjustment. Bed configuration was strange. Master bedroom had two single beds, with no flexibility to put beds together. Only one TV in 3 BR home. Overall great accommodations, away from busy streets and noisy neighbors.

Cute, clean and very comfortable cottage with beautiful bay front large lot. Screened in porch was huge and definitely the place to be along with a lovely beach side covered wooden shelter with brand new rocking Adirondack chairs for relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous view. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate during our stay ( rainy, cold and windy ) but we could still enjoy the view from inside! Fun towns to explore within 30 minutes and good restaurants with great seafood. ( Best crab cake ever at The Oyster Farm in Cape Charles and best mussels at Mallards in Onancock. ) Would definitely rent this cottage again if back in the area.

This is a super cute place right on the water! It’s arranged in a way that feels comfortable and maximizes the space. It has everything you need! We loved staying here with our dog and one year old. The beach is a very easy walk and watching the sunrise on the deck is magical. Don’t miss the kind of hidden second bathroom tucked in with the laundry, it’s very handy!
