Welcome to Kodama House! Please relax in the spacious and calm room. [Available in Japanese and English] 5 minutes by car from Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, famous for its sightseeing spot! You are renting the entire property. Parking is available for up to 2 regular-sized vehicles in the covered parking lot. You can park an additional car next to the building. Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot after crossing the hill. There is a convenience store (mini-stop) within walking distance. The living room floor is made of natural wood (chestnut), which has a nice atmosphere and feel. You can also gather together in the spacious living room. BBQ is also available on the wooden deck (+ 2,500 yen) BBQ grill is available for rent. Please bring your own charcoal, meat, vegetables, etc. The first floor has a living room, kitchen, two Japanese-style rooms, and a bathroom The second floor has 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom is equipped with a projector with an electric screen, and we have a contract with U-NEXT, so you can enjoy your favorite movies and dramas on a large screen. You can also enjoy stylish dining and drinks in the balcony area, where chairs and tables are available. The large living dining room is complete with a wooden single board table that can accommodate up to 8 people, and the sofa is a hotel-specified high-quality L-shaped sofa, providing a comfortable sitting experience. In pursuit of comfort, the old beams and the scent of new Kunikuzu cedar wood create a clean and calm space. -About "yori-toko"- Built in 1894, this building was 118 years old as of 2019. The building, which has been around for nearly 120 years, has been a vacant house for nearly 40 years. Once loved by neighborhood children who came to study and play, this building was renovated. Returning to its original form, it was reborn as "Fukuchi no Yado Kafu yori-toko". The name "yori-toko" is based on the owner's desire for this place to continue to be a warm place where people can gather, just as it was once a popular "place to gather". With foundation work and insulation, it has become a comfortable home for the current climate.

川と川が合流する石垣の上にあり、木々に囲まれた古民家の中をリノベーションした、素泊まり一軒宿となっております。 見える範囲に建物はなく、川の音、鳥の鳴き声、自然との一体感をお楽しみいただけ、水道も湧水(水質検査済)となっております。 季節によって、川遊びや、かっぱ滝を目指して、宿の横の川を行き交う方々もいらっしゃいます。 お天気が良ければ、川遊びはもちろん、ご持参いただいた食材でBBQ、 焚き火も楽しみいただけます。 (火の取り扱いには充分お気をつけください。) 雨の際は、お部屋の中にある囲炉裏にて、ご持参された食材を炭火でお楽しみいただいたり、調理器具、レンジ、食器類も備えておりますので、ゆっくり川音を聴きながらの調理はいかがでしょうか。 川沿いの散歩道を上に進むと、150m程先に「かっぱ滝」もございます。 夕食等の飲食物は、チェックイン前にご用意ください。スーパーまでゆっくり車で20分かかります。 古民家の400m手前より、道が未舗装で狭く、わかりづらくなっておりますので、 「camuつばき山」までお越しいただけましたら、私達が、ご案内させていただきます。
