In the background, the gentle sound of a small stream accompanies you - your soundtrack to slow down. Hiking trails through forest and field start directly from the cabin. The surroundings can also be explored wonderfully by bike. In the evening you sit on the terrace or by the fire – with a wide view of nature and the feeling of being completely at one with yourself.

Located in a quiet residential area, right on the Rothaarsteig, you can start hiking and biking trips directly. The apartment has one bedroom, guest rooms for 2 additional guests, a large bathroom with tub, guest toilet with shower, a living/dining room (with wood-burning stove) and a southwest-facing balcony. You can grill and enjoy the sun on the large southeast-facing terrace. The kitchen is comfortably furnished.

Close to nature in a beautiful house with garden / 10 beds

The old house is located in a small village on the edge of the Bergisches Land, a stone's throw from the Westerwald. The house has been renovated in recent years, only the facade is still missing. There are six rooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen, a living room in the attic and a large property (about 2,000 m²). The cottage is quietly located on the outskirts of a 300-person village, there is no thoroughfare, the main sounds are the occasional bleating of the neighbor's sheep.

Our barrier-free apartment was extensively renovated in 2025/2026 and offers modern living comfort. The adjustable underfloor heating ensures a pleasant room climate. The bathroom has a spacious rain showers. In the kitchen there is a coffee machine, stove and dishwasher. The living room with smart TV and Wi-Fi invites you to relax. Public parking is right by the property. Hiking trails, regional train station and shopping in Wissen are within walking distance.

Nestled in nature, in an idyllic forest edge location with breathtaking lake views, this chalet allows you to escape everyday life. Hike in the forest or by the lake and enjoy a bike ride with our e-bikes. When it's cool, warm up in the sauna or heated pool before settling in with a glass of red wine by the fireplace. In the warm season, enjoy a swim in the pool or in the crystal clear lake (SUP/kayak are also available) before watching the stars in the evening.

Built in 1963 by my grandparents, we have revived the old part of the bungalow in the charm of the 60s and converted it into a spacious guest house for 2-3 people. Situated directly on the edge of the forest, this is the perfect starting point for hikes in the beautiful Siegerland, for excursions in the region, e.g. e.g. to Freudenberg, Siegen or Biggesee. As guest of the Vicounts of Plettenberg, who have been living here since 1433, you can relax for some quiet days alone, spend a romantic weekend for two at the fireplace or take a family outing. Whether it's hiking in the wonderful nature, cycling, sailing, golfing, skiing - Bamenohl is worth a visit.

Relax in this special and quiet space. In our small mobile home, you have your peace and seclusion. It is located near our farm, the bathroom is on the courtyard grounds (about 80m away). We offer 3 parking spaces for overnight stays with a motorhome. If campers are there, they will also use the bathroom. Only for guests who love nature and a camping atmosphere! Feel free to bring your dog and/or horse. The open stable is next door.
