Townhouse in Fukui

Self check-in. Stay in the Samurai Ruins area!

We renovated part of a house in Ichijodani to be exclusively for private lodging. It is conveniently located for walking around Ichinotani, with nearby Asaga Kasuga Shrine, which was the Asakura family's war victory prayer place, the Asakura family ruins of Shimosakado, the Asakura family ruins museum and JR Ichinotani station, the Asakura family ruins Karamon, and the restored street. There is a firefly spot nearby, and you can also find them on the premises. There is also good access to major tourist destinations in Fukui Prefecture, such as the Dinosaur Museum, Ski Jam Katsuyama, Eihei-ji Temple, Tojinbo, Shibamasa, and the Sand Dome. There are no restaurants, supermarkets, or drug stores nearby. The convenience store is also 2.5 km away. There is a moss garden on the premises and a lawn that is not well maintained, but if the timing is right, you can enjoy a private cherry blossom viewing and snow play on the premises. Because it is a rural area, there are insects and small animals around the facility and sometimes in the room. If you cannot tolerate encountering these, please refrain from booking. The capacity is 4 people, but it feels quite small for 4 adults. No smoking in the facility, including the toilet, bathroom, and under the kitchen ventilation fan. Please refrain from cooking outside the kitchen with a portable stove, etc. License number M180031406

[Private rental of 150㎡] 160-year-old traditional house, a tangible cultural property | Maximum 9 people | Ideal for families and groups | Free parking for 5 cars

[Certified as a tangible cultural property in March 2026] 160 years ago, we carefully restored an old house that was the most prestigious and influential family in the village. The beams and pillars bear traces of people's lives, and the irori fireplace stands quietly as it was in the past.It is a space that retains the atmosphere of the good old Japan, but also has modern comforts such as air conditioning and water. During the day, soft light illuminates the tatami mats, and at night, the sound of insects and the wind calms the mind in the quiet. Experience nostalgic Japanese living while chatting with family and friends. It is about 150 ㎡ and can accommodate up to 9 people (1 toilet) Free parking (5 cars) is available, making it ideal for group trips. We aim to be a place where you can spend time "preparing your mind" rather than just "a place to stay". Private lodging "Mitsuko no Tamashii" 10-minute drive to Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, 5-minute walk from Hassaka Station

5-minute drive to Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum! Families and groups are welcome This is a warm accommodation space that was renovated by DIY from an old house built 40 years ago. The entire first floor of the building can be used and can accommodate up to 10 people. Spacious floor plan, perfect for families and groups. It is a 5-minute walk from the nearest Hassaka Station (Etizen Railway) (right after crossing the Kuryu River), so access is good! You can come with peace of mind even with children. The popular Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum is a 5-minute drive away, making it a perfect location for children who love dinosaurs. It also has a kitchen and living room, and is recommended for long-term stays. Enjoy a relaxing time in a space that combines old-fashioned nostalgia and comfort. ・ Because it is surrounded by nature, there are insects (especially in spring and autumn). ・ The Kuguryu River flows in front of the facility. * Please be careful if you have small children. ・ There is a textile factory near the facility. * It is not a big deal, but there is noise at night.
