Egehan’s place was an absolute gem—surrounded by history, it truly felt like a home away from home. The atmosphere was cozy with a charming rustic and medieval touch that made the stay all the more special. Egehan was an exceptional host—warm, welcoming, and full of thoughtful recommendations on places to explore. The breakfast spread was a highlight, featuring delicious homemade jams that added a lovely personal touch. Would highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting the area!

Our stay with at Gulşen’s home was truly exceptional. The family’s hospitality made us feel like we were visiting close relatives rather than staying in an Airbnb. They generously offered us fresh vegetables and fruits from their garden, and the homemade borek for breakfast was a delightful treat. The warmth and care they showed made us feel completely at home. The stunning sea view, surrounded by lush greens, and the fresh air added to the serene and relaxing atmosphere. The warmth and care they showed made us feel completely at home. We highly recommend staying with them for anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming experience in a beautiful setting.

Traditional house, very spacious room, very comfortable bedding, cozy, warm with several heaters and blankets to warm us. Selçuk is a lovely, helpful, proactive and professional host. As soon as we arrived, he was our guide to visit the village and answer all our questions. In the evening, he invited us to have tea with him and we chatted for a while. Selçuk is a caring, cultured person with great advice, especially from his past experience in tourism in Turkey. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an authentic and warm experience off the beaten track.

Ismail was the perfect host — he picked us and delivered us to the bus station some distance away, helped us buy bus tickets to our next destination. Wonderful breakfast included every morning. The room is tiny but has the most spectacular view. Ismail’s family is kind and helpful. Plus: Safranbolu is the most beautiful and fascinating town!

We had an excellent stay experience all round. Mr. Mustafa and the staff had very friendly, caring and hospitable approaches. It was perfect in terms of cleanliness, very close to the places to see, and the breakfast was very clean and filling. You can choose with your eyes closed. We are so grateful for everything, see you again.

I have visited few places where I’m genuinely sad to leave. Mahirah and his family are so kind and helpful. He offered to pick and drop me at the bus station beyond that. There is such a welcoming vibe, not just to his place but to this beautiful village in Turkey, I cannot wait to return with my loved ones Inshallah.

I would definitely recommend it, it was one of the cleanest places I have stayed and it was comfortable, we had a very nice 2 nights in the Karabük region, in a very good place in the transportation conversation, restaurants, cafes near the house, very good, if I come back, I definitely want to stay here

We had such a lovely stay at Kaans in Safranbolu. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome - the hospitality was truly heartwarming. Our room was super cute, cozy, and full of character, just what you’d hope for in such a historic town. The location was perfect too - peaceful, yet just a short walk to the buzzing bazar area. One of the absolute highlights was the breakfast - homemade by the Kaans mother, and absolutely delicious! Fresh, local, and prepared with so much love. We also had tea and cake in the garden one afternoon, which was such a relaxing treat. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Safranbolu.

it is a family-run hotel. So there was a family atmosphere. They were understanding and nice people in everything. We did not feel alienated. The price was affordable. If safranbolu and want to be comfortable with everything, the first place to evaluate should be Mr. Husey's mansion. It was also very nice to have a restaurant. The breakfast is very satisfying and hygienic. It is a peaceful place in the bazaar. Thank you, Mr. Semih and Selim.

We love the place because of it’s stunning view of the old houses in safranbolu (night view is amazing when all the houses start to light up) as well as it’s close proximity with the bazaar! Another lovely thing is all the people in his place is so welcoming and friendly :):):) The house looks like the typical house in safran bazaar, the bed is soft enough, the bathroom is very clean tho a lil bit small, the amenities are all good (the towels and blankets are all clean <3 ). The breakfast served is so earthy and made us all felt like home. They have beautiful porch as well. Definitely would recommend this place for anyone looking to be charmed in safran!

This was the best host, we were out of the station, no Uber, couldn't find a taxi, after contacting the host he asked me to wait — down he drove to pick me up.The host's mother was very kind, and very welcoming.Fantastic location, easy to eat and shop.This is a recommended hostel.

I picked a great place without realizing it. The business owner and his wife were very caring and friendly. The fact that they are animal lovers has created a separate connection. Lodge name but I've stayed in a very nice room combined with local touches. I found my house in Karabük, now I can say.
