Vacation rentals in Karungi

Perfect location for our Rovaniemi adventure. We loved being slightly out of the town so we could just walk down to the river to see the sunset and the NORTHERN LIGHTS! I would recommend renting a car if you stay here though you probably could figure out the buses. It's just a little ways out so a bit far to walk. The sauna was great. Tidy, clean and felt like a home. Kitchen was well-equipped. Would happily stay here again!

Nora's place is truly exceptional! The villa is beautifully maintained and fully equipped with everything you need to settle in comfortably. Located just 15–20 minutes from the city, it offers the perfect balance of convenience and peaceful seclusion. The area is also one of the best spots to catch the Northern Lights, we were lucky to see them on all four nights of our stay! We were a group of 12, including 4 kids, and the space was perfect for us. The kids had a blast playing in the backyard and exploring the nearby woods. Honestly, the villa itself was the highlight of our trip. Nora is an outstanding host - warm, responsive, and welcoming. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. If you're considering a stay in Rovaniemi , Villa Pahta is an absolute gem. Highly recommended for its charm, comfort, and unforgettable location!

This was an incredible experience!! This stay and it’s host went far beyond anything we could have wished for. This place is perfect for a romantic couples holidays. The location, the cozyness, the cleanliness, the host support welcoming us and facilities for this stay were a 11/10. Basicly we would have given a 6 stars out of 5, if there was the option. We stayed in Sonja and Börje's house for two weeks, the two live in the adjoining house and were always reachable and exceptionally helpful. They even lent us their car when we were having problems with our car. They had great tips for us and whenever available if we had any questions. The old house is super cozy, in the kitchen-living room you can bear it wonderfully even in bad weather. The toddler game room is worth its weight in gold! The tranquility and the ice-covered Baltic Sea on the doorstep, the northern lights with clear skies, the homemade cinnamon rolls that Sonja brought by, the equipment we were allowed to borrow, all this helped us to have a very relaxing vacation. It was also perfect and completely problem-free with our dogs. Thank you very much for the great hospitality!

Lovely place with a beautiful view!

A beautiful cottage in a wonderful location. It was so secluded that the Northern Lights were clearly visible every night. We were welcomed by David's mother who was a wonderful and very welcoming woman. She clearly explained everything we needed to know for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We will hopefully be back again.

Have stayed here in the past and back another time. Was totally seamless. Thank you for the wonderful stay. Wish we had more time. Thank you 😊

Our family and I spent a great Easter holiday in Oulu. This place was great. The location is in the middle of the city. The apartment is modern, modern, and has everything you need for a short vacation. Henniina was friendly and brought an extra toddler bed and high chair before we arrived. There was plenty of room for three adults, a toddler, and two babies. We can definitely recommend this place for short or longer rentals.

We had three wonderful days at Villa Lumikko! Beautifully quietly located on the lake, excellent for watching the aurora lights. Super hot tub on the terrace and very nice sauna. The kitchen was equipped with absolutely everything you need. Clear recommendation!
