So this is our 6-ton baby. We have come a long way together from sunny California, where the Ford e350, an ordinary discarded school bus, eventually became our extraordinary Rufus. 😊 Fully equipped kitchen, 140 x 200 cm bed, storage space, dining room, original sofa, dashboard and manual door opening lever. Outside there is a terrace with a grill and seating, a solar shower - the sun heats the water to make it warm, a dry toilet, but most of all beautiful nature and peace. This rustic house built in traditional Slovak style is in the centre of a little village called Zaskalie - Manínska Gorge, in a heart of national nature reserve which features the narrowest canyon in Slovakia. It lies in the Súľov Mountains, 6 km (3.7 miles) from Považská Bystrica. With wild and rare flora and fauna, its perfect for rock climbers, nature lovers and families. It's a short walk from the crag and very comfortable.
