I visited with very high expectations after seeing the photos. While there are many better facilities in the photos, this one was far better than the local facilities. The openness of the facility, the atmosphere of being in a quiet forest, and the quality of the sauna were all great experiences. The living room is all windows. Even when I was working in the kitchen, I was able to cook surrounded by the greenery of the forest, which was a bit different from the stressful housework of everyday life. All the appliances were Balmuda, and the dishes were hand-baked, which raised the tension. The floor heating alone was warm enough, but I was excited to use the wood stove, so I lit the fire. It was really great to drink slowly while watching the flames flicker indoors. And the main thing is the sauna. I was hoping to set it up quietly in the woods. It may be a contradiction to the concept of quiet, but the speakers in the sauna are great. I made a new discovery that having sound makes a sauna even more active. The water bath, which may be a single bath, is very mild. I don't think it's tap water. The wind I felt in the well-kept space… I became one with the universe… it was moving. Also, I was very impressed that an iron and ironing board were provided! This is very nice for women. The hair dryer was also a Dyson, and I thought I'd like to live like this lol. I felt the attention to detail, and it was a relaxing and stylish space. It was too good to stay just one night. The cool autumn air was also comfortable, and I imagine that the winter snow and summer vacation would also have a different taste, and I sincerely want to revisit this rare facility throughout the year. Yaeko is one of the nicest Airbnb host I have ever met, dispute a little hiccup at check in, she made every effort to make things right and to make our stay comfortable. She even brought Sake for us to enjoy. Room is very comfortable, very nice undertable heater and blanket heater. I will definitely stay again when we are in the area next time.

Typical Japanese flat floor with a sense of history, very spacious room, many rooms, suitable for everyone.You can grill, the kitchen is fully equipped, there are many toys for the kids, and there is a large field behind the house with a good view.The host is American and more enthusiastic.The shortage is close to the road, of course, there are not many road cars in the countryside, I don't know if the electricity load is too large, and the power is cut several times, although it was restarted in about ten seconds.

The response was quick and kind. The furniture and equipment were arranged to make the architecture look beautiful. The pellet stove was quite good.

This was a wonderful place! It was pristine and had every amenity you could need. It was also centrally located by car-- very close to Karuizawa Prince Hotel Ski Resort. The host was very responsive and kind to our questions, even though there was a sign that answered one of our questions😅. Our dogs loved the open space, too. Our only regret is not staying there longer!

It was a great place to stay but really far from everything. We were also unable to reach a cab with taxi go or Uber. The only way we could get a ride was by calling a taxi service. It was also hard to explain the address to the taxi driver since we don’t speak Japanese. There was one time we did show the address of the Airbnb to the taxi driver and he took us far from it, we had to make a U-turn and guide him to the Airbnb. Other than that, it was a good, peaceful place.

Accommodation for relatives celebrating my parents' golden wedding anniversary. The oldest is 75 years old and the youngest is 3 years old, 3 generations, 5 families, a total of 15 people.(2 pets as well) It was very comfortable, and everyone from seniors to kids, whether they wanted to have fun or relax, were very satisfied. Unexpected heavy snowfall at the end of March.Still, the room was warm and the wood stove was fun. It was a good memory.
