Villa vacation rentals in Kandy

We stayed for 2 nights at Kingsman House in Kandy and had a wonderful time. Though we checked in late at night, the manager (Max) was ready to receive us. The villa is lovely with 8 bedrooms which can accomodate a large group of upto 18 people. There are good sitting areas outside which people can enjoy in Kandy's lovely weather. Would heartily recommend this place especially for large groups. Special thanks for Max for attending to our every need and query.

Lovely place for vacation closer to town and a great place for family get away.

The view from this house is priceless. We could have spent hours starring at the view. If we walk a short distance downhill, we can see the Gregory Lake. There are grocery shop at the beginning of the road. Nonetheless, this place was very peaceful as well as beautiful. We had a great stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Amazing place to unwind in the midst of nature. Great view from the balcony . The villa has all the amenities and stocked with basic needs in the kitchen . Very thoughtful from the host. The host ( Priyanka ) was very pro active and kept a very clear communication before and during the stay. Would recommend this place to others.

This property is a beautiful home with four large bedrooms and bathrooms and very comfortable common areas. The property manager is incredibly helpful, friendly, generous, and accommodating and he is a wonderful chef. He made us a delicious platter of grilled vegetables and roti in response to our request for a light dinner. For breakfast he made more roti, crepes, toast, omelette, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. All of it was amazing. The house is up a steep hill, but well worth the climb!

This villa is perfect for a group that wants to hang out together and eat local food cooked by the wonderful Chef Jacob. The housekeeper Roman will also help you sort out laundry via a pick up and drop off service and were friendly and lovely people. Happy to stay in a place that supports small local businesses rather than big hotels

Everdew was a fantastic place to stay in Kandy- it was a beautiful apartment with a lovely balcony to spend time with friends or family. Dilhara was the best host- kind, responsive and extremely welcoming! She cooked us a wonderful and delicious breakfast- highly recommend ordering that! I could not recommend this place enough- if you are staying in Kandy, you will have a great time at Everdew. Only thing was it was quite hard for our driver to find but he was able to ring Dilhara and locate it. Book for a peaceful and relaxing stay in a truly beautiful apartment with en suite bathrooms and air con!

As a digital nomad on country #27, I highly recommend this place. I am so sorry I could not stay longer. With a private chef as an option for a small fee, this place is such a dream! No need to ever leave, really. My dad and I stayed here for one night, but really, we wish it could be longer. My dad didn't want to leave but our entire trip was only 5 nights in Sri Lanka. Still, we are grateful we got to experience this space. Chef Nakala's cooking was out of this world, and Abey took care of our every need. We adore them. I will have to return with my boyfriend, who is a medical doctor and was bound to the hospital on this trip. I think we would enjoy it as a couple. The space is equipped to house a family, so maybe one day when I have kids I'll bring them back here as well. <3

This property is undoubtedly the best place we have stayed in and will likely stay in for a long time. From being guided in using live location to being welcomed warmly by Sanudi and her husband, everything was perfect. The food was varied, delicious and catered for any specific requests. Beautifully presented and tasted amazing. We enquired about climbing the rock behind the house and because it isn’t a well trodden path, they organised a local guy to take us up, good job as there are some tricky parts to the climb. The bedrooms are stunning and balconies perfect for sitting to watch sunrise or just appreciate the stunning surroundings. The pool is perfect for a dip to cool down from the heat of the day. And the terrace was another lovely space to soak in the surroundings. You are truly made to feel like this house is your home and we will forever be grateful for a wonderful stay. Cannot recommend this place and people enough.

A really beautiful villa with a stunning view. We stayed two families (4 adults and 4 kids ages 2-6) for 4 nights. The staff was really friendly, attentive and took great care of us, and the hostess was very kind, proactive and responsive. The villa is great for some days of total relaxation!

Sandalwood is a beautiful villa with a stunning view. The house and the interiors are modern and tasteful. The infinity pool overlooking the river and the mountains is superb. The staff is very gentle and proactive. Leslie prepare fresh breakfast and cook excellent dinner. Kumara is taking care about the house as if it was her property and perform perfect laundry service. Very interesting the Victoria golf club’s history and how this beautiful project run by big Sri Lankan’s company help the local community.

Grand Hills is a fitting name for a villa with amazing views of the surrounding hills and Kandy area. Don's team at the villa were helpful and (especially Mr Chaminda); we were given local recommendations and they were very responsive to any requests or questions. The villa is a good size - our extended family had plenty of space and most rooms have a private balcony. The children enjoyed watching the monkeys on the roof in the morning. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and we were able to walk to the neighbouring resort for lunch and dinner. Pool was pristine.

We had an incredibly relaxed and satisfying stay at Rajiv’s place. It’s hard to believe this charming bungalow is 144 years old, thanks to Rajiv’s meticulous upkeep while preserving its colonial charm in every corner. Ideally located in Nuwara Eliya, it’s a perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind. The hospitality was exceptional—caretakers Lasantha, Pradeep, and the team went above and beyond, from welcoming us with tea to preparing amazing dinners. They even let me join in and cook, which I thoroughly enjoyed! A special thanks to Rajiv for personally staying an extra hour to greet us and give us a tour of the property before leaving. Highly recommend this beautiful place for an unforgettable getaway!

- We stayed with my whole family, total of 7 adults and a child. As soon as we arrived, the staff was very welcoming and kind. The place is beautiful, decor of the house is well thought through and so nice! 😍 - We also booked a cooking class for dinner time and breakfast! There was a little misunderstanding about breakfast, because you can choose between a few options but the staff again went above and beyond to make sure we were happy (which we were anyway 🙂). - Cooking class was interesting, they explained everything thoroughly and food so delicious! We also booked a private bartender who made cocktails while we enjoyed the cooking class, which was very good as well and between the group, great value for money! - swimming pool is nice and refreshing, and view from the top floor terrace is stunning! - overall I would highly recommend this place - it’s perfect for a group but it’s really the staff that makes it extra great!

Our stay at Croft Cottage was nothing short of amazing! The location is ideal—private, peaceful, and offering breathtaking views, yet still providing easy access to many must-visit sites. We loved being able to walk to the nearby Kovil and enjoyed a scenic drive to Horton Plains, where we were lucky enough to spot leopards. A stop at Jagro for fresh strawberries made the journey even sweeter! The house itself is spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with modern amenities, making it perfect for families. Whether you’re looking for a quiet escape or a fun board game night with loved ones, this place has it all. The staff were outstanding—polite, attentive, and always ensuring our comfort. Additionally, the host was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend Croft Cottage for anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable getaway in Little England. We can definitely see ourselves coming back to Croft Cottage again in the near future!

The environment is very good, but the sheets and duvet covers are a bit old.And the road up the hill is quite strange, of course, it is still worth it to enjoy the beautiful morning light.
