Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Kanazawa

A rare opportunity to stay in a slice of history. Very well preserved historical home in an area relatively untouched by war or disaster for hundreds of years. Toku and his family were amazing, accomodating hosts and I truly felt at home here.

The host was very kind and really made for a warming experience. I enjoyed staying in a old style house in a very walkable location to Omicho market, Kanazawa castle and garden and surrounding restaurants. I recommend that you try Blanket cafe nearby, it is very cozy. The house is also very cozy and the heating is well thought out, including the sunken kintatsu table! I enjoy the small details that show hospitality such as the house name on the towels and the nice soaps and bathroom amenities. It was very comfortable and I would recommend.

Absolutely stunning place. It’s a little difficult place to find but once you’re there, it’s well worth it for a special experience. Would do again.

We felt like at home, marvellous area to discover. Pity that we only stayed three days

This is a cosy place to stay when visiting Kanazawa. Our family were comfortable, but as has been mentioned by others, this place is located on a busy street and there’s some noise. If you’re a light sleeper it might be best to look elsewhere. That said, none of my family had any complaints :)

Kon san was a wonderful and attentive host. His kindness and hospitality made us feel right at home and has made our stay a highlight of our trip to Japan. The house is beautiful and we were very comfortable. Lots of heaters kept the house warm and the futons had electric blankets so it was very cosy at night. Kon san recommended a great restaurant for dinner and even made a reservation for us and drove us there. The dinner was one of the tastiest we’ve had on our trip! Kon san also surprised us with sake tasting during the evening and wished us farewell in the morning with tea and donuts! We highly recommend Fujita Inn!

Easily one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The house is located in a beautiful and serene town surrounded by nature but close enough to town so that if you wanted, you could easily walk into the center and enjoy restaurants and cafes. We particularly loved the Insect Museum! With a car you can do trips to the bigger city of Kanazawa as well as other surrounding attractions in nature. The house was inviting, comfy, and most of all spotless! The bedrooms were prepared for us, the bathrooms were basically sparkling, and the living room; with its wood burning stove was so cozy! I’m not being hyperbolic when I say it was completely perfect. We are grateful to the hosts for offering up their beautiful home and their amazing hospitality. We truly cannot wait to go back!

We loved our stay here. Quiet residential area but walkable to main attractions. Great combination of traditional style but lots of hi tech gadgets. Had everything we needed.

The couple greeted us and were friendly and very fulfilling!
