SUKIYA-Zukuri Suehiro【Authentic house/Old town】

AnkeshRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The best host we have come across, and we have stayed in a 100 airbnbs. The place is made with so much love and soul. Great kitchen, nice Japanese futons. Oh and the cycles made the stay superb! Amazing recommendations by the host. The carpentry museum is a must do and 3 minutes walk away. Stay here instead of Takayama if you want to be away from crowds but still want a unique Japanese stay and a quaint town you can wander around in.

Japanese style room, close to Kenrokuen!

MarcoRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a easy and affordable stay in Kanazawa. Some reviews mention a bad odor in the house, but we did not notice anything like that. The host is reactive, check-in is easy and flexible, and the house is very close (walking distance) to the kenroku-en park and the geisha neighborhood. The apartment is very simple but also really functional.

Private house!Comfatable&Cozy!Tsudoh Stay Hikoso

Great value for the price. Tatsuya met us at the front and even gave us a tour. He's a very friendly host. My daughter had a blast sleeping on the floor since shes used to being in a bed. Also note Tatsuya was kind enough to let us check in early and willing to let us store our luggages after check out. HIGHLY RECOMMENED!

③ "Konjiki gold"

ThomasRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It's not necessarily off the beaten path, but it's tucked away in a quiet neighborhood which is always a big plus after busy days of sightseeing and general wandering around town. Was especially appreciative of the laundry room and generous washroom, but that's bias since after a long day of exploring you'd need a good hot soak and some clean clothes!

Near Omicho Market, 2 Full Bathrooms, 3 Bedrooms

보민Rating, 5 stars4 months ago
It is recommended for those who want to enjoy a traditional Japanese house. It was cleanly remodeled, so it was convenient to use the bathroom or shower. Also, the stairs were less steep than other Japanese houses, so there was no problem with children coming and going. I took a taxi because of the rain wind, and if the weather is nice, it's okay to take a bus or walk. The location is easy enough to walk to Omicho Market. Check-in was convenient, and they were kind enough to answer our questions. If I come to Kanazawa next time, I want to stay again.
A wooden entrance door framed by a modern gray brick wall is displayed, featuring large windows that allow natural light to flood in. The brass handle and wall-mounted light fixture add subtle elegance, while a sign above the door indicates the guest house's name.

Kenroku - Spacious machiya near Kenroku garden

KimRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We absolutely loved this Airbnb! It was perfect for our family of five. It was spacious, clean, and well-designed. The location couldn’t have been better as it was just steps away from restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The hosts thoughtfully provided an instruction booklet, which made operating the washer, lighting, and air conditioner a breeze.

[7-minute walk to Omi-cho Market] Monpachi 3rd floor (2LDK) 1 floor - Entirely private, EV charging available!

PengRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It's quiet here. The house is very spacious and bright. Within a 10-minute walk to Omicho Market, there is also a big supermarket, and the beef is delicious. You can actually walk to the main attractions, this is a great place to stay when visiting Kanazawa. You can feed the pigeons in Tamagawa Park, hahaha.
