Akizuki Craft Garden Main Building This is the perfect facility for groups of up to 7 people to stay without being disturbed by anyone. While it is a private rental, there are 3 separate rooms that can be locked with a key to secure a private space. There is a paved parking lot in front of the entrance. It is available for guests to use free of charge. The key is auto-locked, so you can get your ID at check-in and then come and go as you like. A small stream flows in the courtyard, there is a terrace in the living room, and a large garden with a fountain, with a view of the rice terraces and flowers of a Japanese samurai residence, and when the river is flowing, you can see fireflies dancing. There is also another 2-story apartment hotel (newly built) on the same premises with 3 rooms (hotel specifications) with a capacity of 6 people (3 rooms x 2 people). Each room has a terrace, and the first floor is fully equipped with a professional kitchen, and a living and dining space where parties are allowed (maximum capacityand a large open terrace, making it ideal for group guests. You can also rent out both buildings for a group of up to 13 people. There is also Akizuki Castle Town Brewery on the premises, where you can experience Akizuki Craft Beer, made with Akizuki spring water.

There are no buildings in sight, and you can enjoy the sound of the river, the sound of birds, and a sense of unity with nature. The water is spring water (water quality has been inspected). Depending on the season, people come and go on the river next to the inn to play in the river and go to Kappa Falls. If the weather is good, you can play in the river, BBQ with the ingredients you bring, You can also enjoy a fire. (Please be careful when handling fire.) When it rains, you can enjoy the ingredients you brought over the charcoal fire in the Irori fireplace in the room, or cook while listening to the sound of the river, as we also provide cooking utensils, a range, and dishes. If you go up the promenade along the river, there is also "Kappa Falls" about 150 meters away. Please prepare food and beverages for dinner, etc. before check-in. We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees.
