Tällaiseen majapaikkaan ei Airbnb:ssä usein törmää. Yli 130-vuotias hirsimökki Suvannon kulttuuriperintömaisemassa vie asukkaansa aikamatkalle 1800-luvun peräpohjalaiskylään. Kohde sopii parhaiten Lapin luonnon, historian ja hiljaisuuden ystävälle, joka ei pelkää talvella pimeää eikä kesällä sääskiä. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

Rentoudu taivaan tulien kaupungissa koko perheen kanssa tässä rauhallisessa majapaikassa. Mummolassa viihtyvät kaikki - vauvasta vaariin. Käytössä ovat lapsiperheiden tarvitsemat mukavuudet rentoon lomailuun, saunasta autopaikkaan lämmitystolpalla. Valaistu hiihtolatu lähtee takapihalta, Suomu- ja Pyhätunturit alle tunnin ajomatkan päässä. Kaupunkikeskustaan on 3 km ja sieltä löytyy mm. uimahalli, uimaranta ja veneenlaskupaikka. Kemijärvellä on erinomaiset mahdollisuudet mm. hauenkalastukseen.

Upea sauna lämpiää napin painalluksella. Mökki sijaitsee Suomutunturin välittömässä läheisyydessä, n. 145 km päässä Rovaniemen lentokentältä. Hiihdon ja laskettelun lisäksi alueella on erinomaiset mahdollisuudet ulkoiluun ja retkeilyyn myös kesällä. Hotelli vuokraa suksia ja järjestää retkiä.

Our holiday home is situated in Kemijärvi 85 kms/ 53 miles north-east from Rovaniemi. Nice peaceful 71 m2 apartment close to the nature. You can rest hiking, biking, skiing, swimming, picking berries or mushrooms - whatever you like. Kemijärvi is a town of 6000 inhabitants in the middle of two lakes just above the polar circle. Sauna. There are good trails for crosscountry skiing almost from our front door. The distances to the downhill skiing areas: 45 kms to Suomu and 53 kms to Pyhä.

Mahdollisuudet moottorikelkkailuun kalastukseen, marjastukseen ja metsästykseen sekä retkeilyyn. Noin 1,2km:n päässä on veneen laskupaikka.

Our igloos are 32m² in size and can accommodate two to four persons. The motorized double bed is directly under the glass ceiling. Separate extra beds are made from the sofa. All igloos are equipped with a toilet and a shower, a TV, a drying cabinet for outdoor clothing. All rooms have a well-equipped kitchenette with a fridge, cooking hobs, dinnerware and cutlery, a kettle, a coffee maker, a microwave oven and a dishwasher.
