Beachfront vacation rentals in Kalk Bay

This place was a wonderful getaway! Incredible views over the ocean and the most charming cabin to stay in. The check in was a little challenging in the dark, but Utas instructions and pictures helped us find our way. Would love to stay here again in the future!

A great house with literally everything included !! We used the belly boards, they were awesome and Sarah was very kind in her communication! The house has beautiful and interesting treasures all over :)

I had a great stay at this cozy apartment! It was clean, spacious, and had the most amazing sea view . The place is exactly as described, and I especially appreciated the peaceful vibe. And yes, it’s literally 100 steps down to the main road — I counted them all, not one more, not one less! 😄 Would totally recommend it and would love to come back!

Rustic beach house. Not much to the accommodation, simple and comfortable. exceptional location. Loved our stay. Feels like you’re in a David Attenborough documentary. Would definitely return

We had a wonderful 2-night stay. The apartment is perfect for two guests...cozy, clean, and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break. It’s in a great location, just a short walk to the tidal pool and beach. You can hear the waves breaking from the apartment, which made the stay feel extra restful. The views are stunning – better in real life than in the photos! Roy was a kind and welcoming host, and we really appreciated all the thoughtful extras he provided – coffee, rusks, milk, water, and more. Thank you Roy for such a lovely stay!

Was a great place to stay with our group of friends. There was 11 of us in total and it was the perfect location to see all that beautiful Cape Town has to offer.

When we arrived, we went to the wrong place and Graham came to collect us - he even helped and carried some of the bags. The apartment is stunning. Overlooking the sea - what a view! I can't wait to go back because I was not disappointed. By the way - the security lady was so helpful.. Graham is a gem as he kept on checking how we were doing..

Stunning place in a stunning location with great service. The house is perfectly equipped and decorated with amazing ocean views, just a stone's throw from the beach. I can only recommend renting this place when you visit Cape Town.

I had the pleasure of staying at Robinn's place on my visit for Two Oceans Marathon, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I booked my stay in the early hours of the morning after being let down by a previous accommodation, and Robinn was incredibly understanding of my situation. She went out of her way to accommodate me, even allowing for an early check-in, which was a huge relief. The space itself was beyond perfect – peaceful, clean, and much better than the photos. It was a truly calming place to relax & Carb load for marathon preparation. Robinn was not just a wonderful host, but she also gave me fantastic recommendations on how to navigate Simonstown and get to and from the race itself. She was always available when I needed anything, and her attention to detail made my stay feel like a true home away from home. I absolutely loved my time there and would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you, Robinn, for making my first marathon experience in Capetown more memorable!

This place exceeded my expectations. The place is more spacious and beautiful in person. The host has thought of every little thing that you would need. It felt like home and the place is surrounded by beautiful beaches and has a farm about 5 minutes away. Would love to return soon.

Words cannot describe the location of this property. Literally ON the beach with the most beautiful sunsets. Private and tranquil. Honestly just felt like heaven when on the deck by the pool looking out over this setting. A little jealous that I don’t get to live there. 😉 Absolutely stunning.

Fantastic stay at The Croft in Kalk Bay, the location is perfect - safe and convenient for everything. Carey has beautiful taste, it's her actual home not just an Airbnb. Parking was easy and I really couldn't fault our experience. We'll be back!

Tim was incredibly generous, providing clear instructions for our late Friday night arrival and taking the time to check in the next day. Such a pleasure! I also appreciated his wonderful guide with local recommendations, as well as his list of practical contacts (e.g. pharmacy). Exquisite attention to detail throughout! From books and art pieces to practical amenities (e.g. hair dryer). The location was absolutely perfect—beautiful and convenient, with walkable access to everything in Kalk Bay. The space itself is stunning, combining style and comfort in such a well-conceived way. Interior design inspiration! Can’t wait to visit again for a longer visit! Absolutely loved our stay. The view from the porch and bedroom itself is stunning! Courtney was very responsive and helpful with recommendations and suggestions for activities to do in the area. I would definitely recommend to everyone!

A lovely homely cottage with a beautiful view and terrace perfect for slow mornings. Walking distance to Kalk Bay amenities and a great spot for a piloting Cape Point, the botanical gardens and nearby fishing villages.

Louis's cottage was immaculate and exactly what we needed for the weekend. He's done some lovely alterations to the cottage and it's filled with personal photographs of the beautiful Cape. He communicated well with us, and we knew exactly what to expect. The beds were comfy and the place spotless. I especially loved having a washing machine and tumble dryer available - THANK YOU! Walking to the beach with my morning coffee was such a treat. We'll ba back! :-)

We had a wonderful stay in this comfortable and very well equipped house. Kalkbay is literally on your doorstep and you do not have to drive anywhere after parking on the first day. The locals' early morning cold water plunge in the Dalebrook tidal pool can be watched from the stoep with coffee from the downstairs deli :-). thank you for sharing your home with us.

Penny was a wonderful host, very welcoming and accommodating, and the cottage is just lovely: cozy, charming, and well-equipped with all the details you'd need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect: just down the road from one of my all-time favorite restaurants (Folk!) and the St. James tidal pool, and an easy walk to the shops and restaurants of Kalk Bay. A delightful place to stay!
