We loved staying in Hrafn's grandfather's cottage! The place was very peaceful and has a wonderful atmosphere. You can tell the cabin has been well-loved for generations. Hrafn was friendly and a pleasure to communicate with. Everything was clean, easy to find, no issues.

The hot tub is a real treat! Used it three times despite only staying there for a night. Location wise, it is a little far from everything else including grocery shops. Do stock up before going. The house was nice and comfy, with plenty of room and a sofa bed. Will definitely recommend this for anyone doing the ring road trip.

The place was our last stop before going to Reykjavik. Great equipped with everything you need. It is also perfect as a base camp for explorations in the corner, as Holmavik is easily accessible with a supermarket and a liquor store. We were even lucky enough to see the northern lights with a glass of wine in the hot tub. Highly recommended

We stayed 2 nights on Viktoria’s farm. It was a peaceful and relaxing location; comfortable and clean. We enjoyed bird watching and walking on the trails. We were able to make breakfasts and dinner easily with what’s available. Beds were very comfortable as well. Overall a lovely place to stay. Good location for day trips to Dragsnes and Holmavik. There is also a hotel close by that had excellent dinner.

A lovely rustic house by the sea

Just what we were looking for! My dad and I went to Iceland to just reconnect and fish and this house provided it! The small port of Hólmavík was just a stone throwaway. We even managed to watch a whale in the fjord while fishing. The house itself has everything you would need to just relax and plan day trips around the Westfjords region of Iceland!

A well-lit hallway features several closed doors along its sides, with neutral-colored walls and tiled flooring. Natural light filters in from a window at the end of the corridor, enhancing the bright and clean ambiance.

An amazing stay and location. Super peaceful and luxurious - ended up extending my stay an extra night because it was so relaxing here. The unit is really nice with everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom, and the property is pristine - I had a great time walking around and enjoying the scenery. We had a great stay at Benedikts place for two night. Really enjoyed the cute little house, not to mention the private hot tub 😍 The surroundings of the cabin are so beautiful and peaceful, we didn’t expect it to be this stunning. Could watch birds and the river flow right from the bedroom - what a dream! We really hope that we can come back one day.
