Die Unterkunft war unser letzter Stopp bevor es nach Reykjavik ging. Toll ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Eignet sich auch perfekt als Basislager für Erkundungen in der Ecke, da Holmavik mit einem Supermarkt und einem Spirituosengeschäft leicht zu erreichen sind. Wir hatten sogar das Glück mit einem Glas Wein, im Whirlpool, noch die Nordlichter sehen zu können. Absolut zu empfehlen

An amazing stay and location. Super peaceful and luxurious - ended up extending my stay an extra night because it was so relaxing here. The unit is really nice with everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom, and the property is pristine - I had a great time walking around and enjoying the scenery. It’s drive-able to Holmavik for groceries and food

Ein Traum! Dieses kleine wunderschöne Café-Haus zu bewohnen war etwas ganz besonderes. Vom gemütlichen offenen Wohn-Essbereich hat man Blick auf das Wasser, in der Bucht sieht man (mit Fernglas) Wale und abends kam ein Seehund vorbeigeschwommen, dem wir einfach so zugucken konnten. Auch aus den oberen Zimmern hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf das Wasser. Im Haus ist alles und noch viel mehr, was man braucht, sogar ein Fernglas steht bereit, Fahrräder, Angeln, ein Schachbrett und viel mehr- Dinge, die wir gar nicht erwartet hatten. Auch hat dieses Haus eine Terrasse, das ist eher unüblich in der Gegend, man will gar nicht mehr das Haus verlassen, weil alles da ist. 2 Toiletten vorhanden, praktisch.Ein größerer Supermarkt in 5 Minuten Entfernung zu Fuß, ein kleiner Hafen mit einem tollen Familienunternehmen für Walbeobachtung (Achtung: nur online Anmeldungen möglich), ein kleines Café-Restaurant und die absolute Ruhe. Die Straße vor der Tür stört nicht. Auch bei Sturm super gemütlich.

Magnea’s place was perfect for what we needed for one night. Everything was very clean and it was easy to find and get into. We would recommend to anyone else who is looking to stay here and stay here again ourselves.

We had a great stay at Benedikts place for two night. Really enjoyed the cute little house, not to mention the private hot tub 😍 The surroundings of the cabin are so beautiful and peaceful, we didn’t expect it to be this stunning. Could watch birds and the river flow right from the bedroom - what a dream! We really hope that we can come back one day.

We stayed 2 nights on Viktoria’s farm. It was a peaceful and relaxing location; comfortable and clean. We enjoyed bird watching and walking on the trails. We were able to make breakfasts and dinner easily with what’s available. Beds were very comfortable as well. Overall a lovely place to stay. Good location for day trips to Dragsnes and Holmavik. There is also a hotel close by that had excellent dinner.

La vue est exceptionnelle. Le logement est au sous-sol, il a un charme suranné. Bonne étape entre Akureyri et Isafjordur.
