This is a beautiful apartment with lovely decor, very cosy , clean and lots of nice extras included. The host was wonderful, answering all my questions promptly and checking I was ok. There is secure parking on site and shops/ cafes within walking distanceand a town with restaurantsa short drive away.. The apartment is next to a road so you can hear traffic, but once in the room I hardly noticed it and there are shutters you can put down. I had a little tour of the other apartments in the complex and they are amazing, beautifully decorated with wonderful facilities. overall a fantastic place to stay, highly recommend all the apartments in this small complex.

Probably one of the most amazing places you’ll stay anywhere! The attention to detail when the unit was remodeled, and the furnishings and extras added to make your stay comfortable, are incredible. It is located right in the middle of a vibrant area full of outdoor restaurants, music, and shopping. The hosts are extremely responsive, we were late getting in but that was not a problem. During our stay we unfortunately encountered one of the red dust storms that Chania periodically receives, but they came the next day and cleaned the outer areas. We were lucky with the parking the first three nights, but for some reason the fourth night was a challenge however we did eventually find a garage about 15 minutes away. Also, I would not recommend the unit for younger children or someone unsteady on their feet as the stairs in the unit are quite steep especially to the roof, and there is no washing machine though a laundromat is just a few minutes walk. Would absolutely stay again!

Nous avons absolument adorées notre séjour au Penthouse. Nous sommes un groupe de 3 couples avec deux bébés. La disposition du logement était parfaite. Nous avions chacun une chambre avec salle de bain et balcon ce qui nous permettait de tous avoir un peu d’intimité. Le logement est très bien insonorisé également. L’hôte avait laissé avant notre arrivé deux lits de bébés avec plusieurs couvertes chaudes et propres à l’intérieur, ainsi que deux chaises hautes bien équipées. Il y avait même quelques jouets pour bébé. Que dire de la propreté des lieux. C’était tout simplement parfait. Après quelques jours, nous avons même eu droit à un ménage complet et en profondeur des lieux. Finalement, le localisation est plus que parfaite. Vous êtes situés au abord de la vieille ville. Vous sortez du Penthouse et à quelques pas seulement vous y trouverez d’excellent restaurants, cafés et boutiques. Le port en soit est à seulement quelques minutes de marches. WoW je recommande vivement!

We really enjoyed our 2-months stay. The apartment is great, it has everything you might need for a long stay. The area is quiet with a few supermarkets and restaurants in 10 minutes walk. We also found a decent gym in the area. There is a private parking spot if you have a car. If you don't - there's a bus 5 minutes from the apartment, it'll take you 20-25 minutes to get to Chania. Dimosthenis is a really helpful host, he was always there to answer our questions.

We are already planning our return! We were treated as friends by the most fabulous people we have ever met in an AirBnb experience. This is without a doubt our favourite place we've ever been to. Mary and her family are absolute dream hosts and there was even such beautiful, delicious food from Mary's mum, Vicky, including the best taramasalata I've ever had in my life (and it's my favourite food!). The place is perfect, so peaceful and private, with a gorgeous terrace and a well stocked kitchen to get you started. It feels like everything has been thought of by Mary and her family. The area for us was spot on. The taverna just at the bottom of the road, a minute's walk away, was so good, we went almost every day. Tried everything on the menu virtually and every bit was delicious and so inexpensive. The beach is ideal and right there, excellent supermarkets are super close in a lovely little town, buses regular, taxis inexpensive. The peope are great! Could go on and on, PERFECTION!!!

Je recommande sans hésiter le logement. Appartement conforme aux photos. Pratique, complet et accessible facilement. Mention spéciale pour toutes les petites attentions à notre arrivée. Et pour finir, grande flexibilité sur les horaires de sortie du logement. Un grand merci. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. Kind, helpful, proactive, and made such a nice experience for us. Thank you!!!!!

We hebben 14 heerlijke dagen doorgebracht in het verblijf van Marilena. Vanaf het eerste moment voelden we ons ontzettend welkom. Marilena is niet alleen ontzettend gastvrij en vriendelijk, maar ook bijzonder lief en leuk tegen kinderen. De accommodatie was brandschoon en goed verzorgd. Het privézwembad was een absoluut hoogtepunt: elke ochtend werd het zorgvuldig schoongemaakt door Marilena zelf. Wat we ook erg waardeerden, was dat ze tussentijds – uiteraard in overleg – het huis kwam schoonmaken. Echt topservice! Je merkt aan alles dat Marilena dit met liefde doet en oog heeft voor haar gasten. Kortom: een fantastische plek om te verblijven met een gastvrouw die echt het verschil maakt. We komen hier zeker graag nog eens terug!

Τι να πρωτοπώ! Το διαμέρισμα είναι ακριβώς όπως στις φωτογραφίες και ακόμα καλύτερο. Πεντακάθαρος χώρος και εξοπλισμένος με τα πάντα. Ήταν σαν να ήμασταν στο σπίτι μας. Φοβερή θέα και καταπληκτικό μπαλκόνι. Η Ιωάννα και ο Νίκος ήταν φοβεροί οικοδεσπότες. Πολύ φιλικοί και εξυπηρετικοί. Την επόμενη φορά θα το ξαναπροτιμησουμε σίγουρα. Το συστήνω με κλειστά μάτια!!!! Σας ευχαριστούμε για την άψογη φιλοξενία!!

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Lage ist perfekt, mit dem Auto kommt man gut an viele tolle Strände ohne extrem weit fahren zu müssen. Das Zimmer war wie beschrieben, es war total sauber und wurde sogar während unseres Aufenthaltes einmal sauber gemacht. Der Blick war total schön und auf dem Balkon zu frühstücken einfach mega! Einen kleinen Abzug muss ich geben, da das Bett ziemlich klein ist und die Wohnung auch sehr hellhörig ist… man hört leider alle Geräusche von draußen und auch von den Nachbarn… Wir hatten gott sei dank Glück, dass wir leise Nachbarn hatten, aber wenn eventuell Familien mit Kindern nebenan wohnen, könnte es etwas lauter sein. Trotzdem waren wir rundum zufrieden, der Gastgeber ist super freundlich und hat uns tolle Empfehlungen gegeben! Wir würden wieder kommen 🥹🥰

Place was great, location right in the harbor, but still quiet. Place was exactly as described.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en kregen allerlei tips met betrekking tot uitjes, wandelingen en goede restaurants. We hebben ons mede daardoor erg goed vermaakt. Het zwembad was erg mooi en lekker fris. Het appartement was van alle gemakken voorzien en daardoor was het ook heerlijk om gewoon bij het appartement te verblijven voor een paar dagen.

La maison d'Aggeliki est un vrai paradis caché dans un endroit unique et privilégié au bord de l'eau. On a adoré dormir bercés par le son des vagues et prendre notre petit déjeuner face à la mer. C'est sans compter les couchers de soleil!... Aggeliki checked on us on a regular basis making sure we didn't need anything and she was very reactive, in addition of being very friendly! We plan to go back!!

Der Aufenthalt war sehr entspannt, keine Probleme und der Host hat sehr (sehr) bei allen möglichen Fragen schnell geantwortet. Wir waren zu dritt dort und haben es sehr genossen. Es gibt ein Schlafzimmer mit wunderschönem Meerblick, 3 Balkone (der Hauptbalkon ist auch mit Meerblick) und man ist relativ hoch über der Siedlung gelegen. Nebenan ist eine Schule mit lauten Durchsagen die durchaus stören können, allerdings waren wir eh jeden Tag unterwegs und haben nicht viel davon mitbekommen. Es gibt sowohl in beiden Schlafzimmern, als auch im Wohnzimmer eine Klimaanlage, was einen Aufenthalt im Hochsommer wesentlich angenehmer macht. Solange man einen Mietwagen hat, ist die Lage total in Ordnung, ohne liegt die Unterkunft etwas weiter weg von der Innenstadt (3 - 4km). In der Nähe gibt es aber direkt eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit, die gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen ist. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder!

We had a wonderful stay at Eirini's home! She was so warm and welcoming by bringing us coffee and pastries, taking the time to show us her home, and provided us with great recommendations within Crete. She even helped us with booking a reservation at a local restaurant and was always extremely responsive. Her home was clean and had all the necessary amenities we could possibly need. We always felt at home and she truly one of the best hosts we've had. We highly recommend staying at her home during your trip to Crete!

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour chez Manolis et nous recommandons ce logement très vivement. L'appartement est très agréable et correspond aux photos. Il est exceptionnellement situé sur un promontoire. De la terrasse ou de la baie vitré de la cuisine on domine la baie avec une vue imprenable sur la mer, Chania, les îles ou presqu'îles environnantes. C'est un enchantement quelle que soit l'heure du jour. Et le soir l'apéro sur la terrasse en regardant le soleil se coucher !!!!!!!!!!! Un endroit calme et idyllique tout prés de Chania, belle mais agitée. Manolis est un hôte charmant et attentionné, fleurs, fruits et Raki nous attendais à l'arrivée. Il sait être de bon conseil pour les petits restau, les petits villages typiques et les plages hors sentiers battus. A ce sujet, mention spéciale pour la taverne situé dans le petit port en bas de l'appartement et pour le petit village de Tersanas (petite baie de rêve). Bref merci encore à Manolis et nous n'avons qu'un souhait...revenir...

Echt een geweldig appartement! Komt volledig overeen met de advertentie. Het is brandschoon en aan alles is gedacht: thee, koffie, wasmachine, noem het maar op. Het ligt in een rustige omgeving, maar onder aan de berg wel een leuk restaurantje om te genieten van zonsondergang. We hebben even moeten stoeien met de jacuzzi: die ging midden in de nacht om het uur aan, maar de host reageerde zeer snel en wist ons goed uit te leggen hoe we dit konden oplossen. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad, ik zou het iedereen aanraden.

Stayed in this small Airbnb for one night only, as a transition between a previous week-long rental and a flight back home. Loved the neighborhood, much quieter than the bustling and busy streets of old town Chania and yet very close. The room was simple, but very clean, nice bedding, excellent WC, bath and shower. Windows opened right onto a view of the Mediterranean, with a small restaurant balcony perched just by the water. Worth every penny, would stay again.

Mike was great from the start…we booked last minute and he texted me immediately. He made everything very easy and was extremely friendly when we got there to check in. He showed us everything about the apartment that we needed to know and gave us lots of tips on where to go to eat and to see the best sites. The rooftop space was beautiful and the apartment was very close to everything in the area… We were able to walk to everything! I would definitely recommend staying there… Thank you, Mike!

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. I think it was the perfect location just outside the old town - very easy to walk into old town or along the marinas to many restaurants and shops yet also easy access for tours and outings outside the city. I loved Crete and would recommend this Airbnb to others. Some of the restaurants we enjoyed in the area (easily walkable from the apartment) include Maiami, El Gato, and SALIS. We also enjoyed a cooking lesson, snorkeling boat trip, and olive oil tasting.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in der Villa Life. Da wir sehr früh angekommen sind, konnten wir schon mittags einchecken. Das Apartment hatte alles, was man braucht und wurde täglich gereinigt. Der Blick war wunderschön und die gesamte Anlage sehr gepflegt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!
