Staying at this Airbnb in Jinja was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, Susan and Joel went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. Their kindness, helpfulness, and attention to detail truly elevated our entire stay. The house itself was exceptionally clean — you can tell real care goes into maintaining the space. The interior decor was tasteful, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. Whether it was the comfort of the space, the peaceful surroundings, or the genuine hospitality from the hosts, everything about this stay exceeded expectations. I couldn’t recommend it more and I’m already looking forward to returning. A real gem in Jinja!

We loved our stay at Ceyda’s! Mornings were spent enjoying local food—Rolexes, fresh fruit—and great coffee. We explored the area on foot and went for scenic runs, which were a highlight. There are loads of activities on offer; we did the white-water rafting which is an absolute must! We often ate at the nearby local restaurant which served good food and had a great bar atmosphere. But our favourite part of the trip was relaxing with sundowners on our porch, soaking in the stunning view of the Nile. Ceyda was proactive and communicated really well with us throughout. All the hotel staff were fantastic—friendly and helpful. The only downside was the sound of rain and monkeys on the roof at night. Since it rained every evening, we were often woken up by the monkeys early in the morning. But aside from that, everything was wonderful. We’d definitely recommend a stay here!

It is a gorgeous house overlooking the Nile river, where monkeys jump from branch to branch in front of the main bedroom. The housekeeper made sure that all our requirements where met and she made fresh pineapple juice in the morning. We will be back to this beautiful place. Thank you!

Great place to go with family! Bernard caretaker was also very welcoming. Location is very good being right in the center of all places with activities at the source of the Nile. This place was lovely, just as it was in the pictures, quiet, peaceful, clean and it felt like we were home. Alice was really friendly, and made sure we were doing alright and had everything we wanted and needed.. We shall definitely be going back. The view of the Nile was a gem. The caretaker was very responsive and the dogs were very friendly too

As a middle-aged, American, solo-female traveler I look for a place that is safe, walkable, and quiet. This was perfect for me and I felt right at home. I enjoyed the location and walked to restaurants in the area. All the drivers and bodas were able to find it easily

We felt right at home with Jerry and his lovely family. The compound was beautiful, really well kept and the team there were friendly and helpful. There was so much space for my children to safely roam so we were able to relax. Really grateful for the laundry service as Uganda is very dusty. The apartment was comfortable and we had everything we needed. It was quiet and we slept really well. There is a high level of security around the clock so we felt very safe. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we were coming back.

The hostess, Sarah wrote us a massive anniversary card. The personal touch made it really special. The space is so well decorated and after a long day on the road it was such a blessing to just relax in soak everything in. We also had a tour of the Soul Hope facility and shoe factory. The work Asher and her team are doing is profound. Thank you.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The location was easy to find for boda bodas, and the apartment itself was comfortable. There was a small issue with the Wi-Fi when we arrived, but the host was responsive and offered to buy us airtime as a solution. Overall, it was a good experience, and we would stay here again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb from November 9th to 12th, providing me with the perfect retreat during my visit to the Nyege Nyege event. Although my original plan was to check in on the 9th, I unfortunately couldn't make it until the 10th. The host was incredibly understanding and accommodating, making my check-in process seamless. I felt secure throughout my stay, thanks to the secure access to the property and the host's commitment to ensuring a safe environment. The host's communication was exemplary. Amazing place to stay with friends. The garden is huge! You are surrounded by nature, with access to the Nile. You can easily go for a swim, kayaking or a walk along the Nile. The staff were very warm and helped us to organise bodas. The place supports community projects which is definitely a plus when booking! I definitely recommend the place!

Staying at Romina’s cottage felt like stepping into a fairy tale—truly a dream come true. Sometimes we had to remind ourselves that what we were seeing was actually real. It’s a birdwatcher’s paradise, incredibly peaceful and calm, with a breathtaking view of the River Nile. Cows and chickens stroll lazily through the garden all day, adding to the magic of the place. The house itself is beautiful—charming, cozy, and very well equipped. David and Fiona were absolutely wonderful hosts and made everything feel effortless and relaxing from start to finish. We loved spending our days swimming in the pool, watching the fishermen at sunrise, and ending our evenings by the fireplace. Thank you so much, Romina, for sharing this magical spot with us. It’s a stay we’ll remember forever.

I couldn't have wished for anything better than my stay at Nile It. I adored staying in the tent and being gently woken by birdsong every morning. The offered a wide variety of food for every palate was beautifully prepared and presented. The staff are delightful and ever helpful. Finally, they were supremely helpful in arranging activities, like professional tubing the Nile, right from the beach of Nile It and other options. And there was so much more ... I'll definitely come back if I have half a chance.

This place is located right in front of the Nile River, offering a peaceful and nature-filled environment. I stayed for just two nights to take a short break from the hustle and bustle of Kampala, and it turned out to be a perfect getaway. It really helped me recover mentally and recharge. I especially enjoyed spending time with the two adorable dogs—they were such a joy to be around. There aren’t many restaurants nearby, so I recommend buying groceries at the market or supermarket in Jinja and cooking in the kitchen. At night, there can be quite a few insects, so if you're sensitive to bugs, make sure to bring proper insect repellent.
