Tainui Retreat A beautiful, newly renovated two storey house in the heart of Havelock North. Just 15-20 minutes walk to the village. Warm and sunny, with a balcony off the living area and a secluded deck at the other end of the house with an outdoor table and couches. A garage is available for storage of bikes & golf clubs. The house is set up for adults. Our policy is for no children under 10. Out of consideration for our neighbours we have a quiet policy from 9 pm and strictly no parties.

The Pavilion

So close to the village, yet set in the countryside there are lambs in Spring and apple trees next door. Eggs are laid by our own chooks, bread, muesli and preserves are homemade. We'll suggest places to visit and restaurants if you want to dine out. Cool off in the pool in summer or take an expertly led yoga class! Take a trip to Hastings or Napier or walk the miles of tracks in Te Mata Park. Ocean Beach is just 15 minutes away and the Sunday Farmers Market just 10!

Our place is a unique architectural designed passive solar, straw bale home with recycled native wood and natural clay finish. Our Cottage has been renovated to accommodate travellers. It is warm and cosy in the winter and with a large living space in which to relax. The cottage is in the centre of the Te Mata wine region, close to wineries including Black Barn, Craggy Range and the Te Mata Estate. It is a 5 minute drive to the centre of Havelock North, a thriving cafe and easy shopping centre. Wai iti Cottage is a good walk/bike ride from the concert venue and market at Black Barn Winery.

Situated on a very special, peaceful, slice of paradise, on an apple orchard, on the northern outskirts of the village. Minutes from Hawkes Bay's amazing attractions. A twenty five minute drive to the Napier airport. Our swimming pool is situated behind the main house, 30 meters over the paddock.
