Vacation rentals with lake access in Kaag en Braassem

Beautiful house with garden in a quiet area. Nearby there is access to the lake. TV and Wi-Fi work perfectly, the shower was clean and very comfortable. Communication with Annet was excellent. It would be good to know that it is a private home and not ONLY intended for Airbnb guests. We had the opportunity to use everything we needed.

A great cottage with direct views of the lake and windmills and many animals. The house is well maintained and is relatively quiet. Since Amsterdam is quite close, there is a lot of air traffic, sometimes at night, which has clouded us a little. Otherwise great nature. Pure relaxation on your own dock. We could easily check in earlier. Thank you!

We had a great three-night weekend with the family (there were eight of us including a baby). The setting is idyllic, in a very quiet area, a haven of peace in the middle of nature. The house is very bright, very comfortable and the services offered are of quality. The pontoon and the possibility of swimming and using the boats are very much appreciated. The weather was wonderful during our stay and we were able to enjoy the garden and terraces even in the evening around a fire. We were hosted very well by our hosts and I thank them for that. I can wholeheartedly recommend this listing

We enjoyed our stay at Dea's very much. We were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable right away. We occupied the upper floor of Dea's house, which included a large bathroom and even a small lounge in addition to the bedroom, which also had a coffee maker and a refrigerator. The beds were very comfortable and due to the quiet neighborhood we could always sleep well. The place is good for trips to Amsterdam or Leiden, as there is a bus stop near the house. The house is in a cozy neighborhood, there are fewer restaurants there. There is a supermarket, which is only about 10 minutes away. Overall we had a very good time with Dea and can highly recommend her place.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve been to. Fantastic nature, close to the major cities Utrecht and Amsterdam, cca 30 minutes by car to either one. The apartment is on the roof of the building, surrounded by succulents and flowers. The view from the apartment is breathtaking. The nature park part of the lake is a must see. The staff is very helpful and friendly, we will be back for sure!

Loved our stay at this beautiful apartment. Cabin rooms were perfect for teens (13 & 15) and location was excellent with nice restaurants and supermarket in easy walking distance. Very friendly hosts, would love to visit again.

The welcome was warm, the accommodation was well presented to us, it is comfortable and very well located to visit the whole region between Amsterdam, Gouda, the mills and The Hague. The distances are short enough to travel from the city.

Great communication. Easy check in. Fransje welcomed us and showed the house which was filled with fresh flowers everywhere. This was the second time we stayed in this beautiful typical Dutch house. The last time we were with 7 people, this time with 6. Enough room for everybody. This house has everything you need.

We spent 4 nights over Easter in Rudi‘s cottage and throughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very bright and clean with a comfy bed. and sofa, a great shower and excellent lighting (this is something that I often miss in hotel rooms). The view from the terrace is outstanding. We were lucky with the weather and spent many hours there after cycling in the area or visiting nearby Utrecht. Rudi is a very friendly person, always smiling, giving us recommendations etc. Would re-visit anytime. Thank you, Rudi - also for the delicious welcome-cake!

Wow! Nor and Mat’s cottage was the perfect escape. The most comfortable stay with picturesque views. The home was immaculate, and Nor and Mat have thought of everything—including toys and crafts for our 3 year old. Their communication and instructions were great, too. The location was wonderful too—a short drive to many restaurants and stores while still quiet and peaceful. We loved our time there!

John is a very friendly landlord who always responded to questions in a friendly and quick manner. In the house itself, we were warmly welcomed according to the instructions and were very impressed by the many details. The house has every comfort and nothing was missing. The only small drawback I have to mention is that the house is very brightly lit. Every visit to the toilet, every shower, etc. of these had something for all fellow travelers, but nevertheless life in the house was very pleasant. The lower room does not allow any privacy, although this was already mentioned in the reviews by our predecessors. We would recommend the house and the landlord at any time !!! ❤️❤️

My sister and I loved it. It was all the same as in the photos. Even better. Right on the water and you had your peace. The view was really heavenly and we were able to relax very well. I'd love to come back.

Angelique is a super host, very responsive and on hand if you need anything answered or help with directions etc. I have not encountered a better air bnb host :-) The water cottage is peaceful and restful and has everything you need. For Amsterdam you must be either prepared to drive or happy to walk just over 1.3 miles into the town. Its a 45 min bus into Amsterdam which is pretty regular or you can drive 15 mins to a train station and make your way in from there. We had no problem with this at all but some might be put off. However the location and quiet peace by the water was super and worth it!

We spent a great day there! Everything looks even better than on the pictures. The house and surroundings are really cozy and peaceful, good for walks or relaxing cycling. We met a beautiful sunset on the terrace (feels private!) and had a nice breakfast (kitchen is fully equipped). We stayed there in the middle of March, when it wasn’t so warm outside, but inside the house it was nice and warm (you can use an air conditioner for hitting and it works absolutely fine). The host is friendly and proactive — all our questions were addressed even before we asked it 😁

Mechteld and Remco welcomed us wonderfully to the accommodation and picked us up by boat. The location of the house is perfect for a quiet and above all relaxing vacation by the lake. The house can only be reached by boat. There were four of us traveling and we all had enough space in the house. We were allowed to use everything the shed had to offer and were busy every day with boating, paddle boarding or swimming. We had a wonderful stay there and enjoyed the days on the terrace very much. In addition, day trips to Amsterdam or Utrecht are highly recommended, as it is never more than 30 minutes by car. Will definitely visit again.
