The log cabin has beds for two. Electricity + heating. Well-equipped kitchen. No running water. The hosts provide drinking water for the kitchen. Fireplace. The kitchenette has a hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and dishes (glasses, mugs, plates, coffee presses, cutlery, etc.). There are showers in the adjacent beach sauna. Welcome to Piilopirtti, an atmospheric log cabin in the Arctic Circle, on the shore of Lake Kemijärvi, 7 km from Suomutunturi. The cottage is located on a large lot and offers sweeping views of the lake and dangerous landscapes. From the village you can take the castle to a stunning sandy beach. Ski trails on Suomutunturi. But you can go skiing on the lake from the yard. For the fisherman, Kemijärvi offers abundant catches. The berries are waiting for pickers right around the corner from the house.

Welcome to the middle of nature to enjoy the cozy atmosphere of a log cabin. This holiday home, built in 2013, is located only about a 30-minute drive from the center of Rovaniemi and Santa Claus Village. The cabin has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a fireplace, and a wood-fired sauna where you can experience the Finnish sauna culture. There is also a private lean-to (laavu) on the premises.
