I had a wonderful stay! The hosts were super friendly and responsive—always available when needed but respectful of privacy. The location is absolutely beautiful, perfectly situated between Rovaniemi and Oulu. I’d definitely recommend having a car to explore the area. One of the absolute highlights was the sauna with its stunning view of the lake and sunset—truly priceless. The amenities were amazing and made the whole experience feel extra special. Fire place, sauna indoor and outdoor, hot tub. Everything for a spa feeling, which I really appreciated. I fully enjoyed my time here and would gladly come back!

Everything tip top, very central location for the north, have seen many northern lights what our destination was. Jockfall was a very nice excursion destination!

We stayed 5 days in this very nice cabin. Everything was as described and equipped with everything you need to feel comfortable. The area is fantastic and very quiet, unlike the "normal" hustle and bustle of another world. Tapio is a great host. In advance with good tips and always available. During our stay we had a small technical issue that he immediately resolved in person with a friendly smile. Thanks again for that. It was an unforgettable trip to this beautiful country

We had an amazing time at the cabin. We got a Bolt from the city ( €65 each way ) as we did not want to hire a car. We stocked up on food and drink at the supermarket before setting off. The Cabin is truly wonderful, so peaceful with beautiful views. I knew we would have a composting toilet, however there is a very clean flushable toilet only a 3 minute walk away. I thought I would miss having a shower, but found the Finnish way of bathing in the Sauna to be enjoyable. We saw the Northern Lights both nights, dipped in the ice hole, poached in the hot tub, went for lovely walks ( and used the snow shoes! ) The bed was so comfortable we had great nights sleep. I would recommend this cabin to all. We loved it and would come back again in a heartbeat.

This was an incredible experience!! This stay and it’s host went far beyond anything we could have wished for. This place is perfect for a romantic couples holidays. The location, the cozyness, the cleanliness, the host support welcoming us and facilities for this stay were a 11/10. Basicly we would have given a 6 stars out of 5, if there was the option. Absolutely incredible stay a Paula’s place. Amazing location, easy enough to find and perfectly quiet for a winter retreat! We will forever have magical memories of seeing the northern lights luckily enough on our first two nights! Paula could not be more helpful and more equipped if she tried. Has everything you could ever need and more! Paula even helped with recommendations and bookings for local shopping and activities, a five star getaway and we cannot wait to return! If you’re on the fence , just book you will not be disappointed 💫

Lovely place with a beautiful view!

A beautiful cottage in a wonderful location. It was so secluded that the Northern Lights were clearly visible every night. We were welcomed by David's mother who was a wonderful and very welcoming woman. She clearly explained everything we needed to know for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We will hopefully be back again.
