Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Juan Dolio

Stayd 2wks. Large w nice features. There could have been better instructions. My own practice is work/travel –so I tend to look for place w large table to use as office, so I appreciated the large kitchen table & spacious kitchen w/ most utensils & laundry workd too. Some comfort difficulties w not having air conditioning on 1st level & if I left windows open, bugs/mosquitos would get in. The place is in natural area w plenty of critters. When electricity out (several Xs), inverter would ONLY power lights, fans & internet for 3-4 hrs. The times electricity stayed out longer, I wasnt able to work (would be better to have generator, but surely price would go up). Even thou there was shared pool, I did not use it. Hot water was good w decent pressure, although I could not figure out how to get hot tub/jacuzzi in main bathroom to work, I used outside jacuzzi. There was plenty of linen & comfortable main bed. 3 balconies & other patios. There probably is need for car/moto for this place.

Spacious house, beatiful floring, high cealings with a full bathroom in every bedroom, staff was plesant and readily available, provided clean towels daily. Kept surrounding areas clean. Host checked in constantly although we had no need for him. Good vacation!

We enjoyed our stay, very comfortable, spacious, impeccable and elegant apartment. The area is very cozy and well maintained. Friendly host and responds quickly. We would definitely like to come back.

The place is nice, quiet and peace. very good location, the people work in the facilities are very nice and help you in wathever you need. The only advice, read all the rules they have, many restrictions, if you travel with your kids it is good that you read everything and ask EVERYTHING beforehand.

Excellent apartment and location. Extremely satisfied and I'm sure we'll be back.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay there. The kids mainly spent their 3 days on the beach and pool. Such a beautiful view and we were able to catch the sunrise every am on the beach. This is a very peaceful place if you are looking to reset. There’s a restaurant there, however we did not eat there. We had the room with the bunkbeds and that was enough for my kids. We were happy to spend time there and will definitely return. Thanks again for having us.

This is the perfect beach spot to enjoy soft sand and bright blue water. The apartment is beautiful and equipped with everything we needed for a 5 week stay. Wendy was awesome at responding and managing a few maintenance problems that popped up. I loved being on the second floor as it was only a short stair case down to the beach and is in the closest location to the gym in the whole building. The WiFi was great, no issues with it, and we enjoyed the Netflix/Prime video access. There isn't much to do in the surrounding areas and is about a 20 minute taxi ride to the nearest large grocery store, but there is a small colmado across the street with the basics to get you started. When the water is calm, you can snorkel right off the beach! We had a great experience - would absolutely stay again for a chill, quiet retreat.

If you're looking for a cultural DR experience and do not mind walking 10 minutes to the beach/restaurants, I highly recommend. It also took me 35-40 mins to walk to the Juan Dolio Liquor store the "nightlife partying" nearby. Very safe location even if it looks a bit sketchy at first. There area cameras on property. I walked alone at night and felt very safe. Most locals are there to protect tourists. During the tour Eddy was welcoming and went above and beyond to help! Some things that were broken, but he let me know ahead of time and was very honest. The water pressure in bathrooms was not always great. They also only have cold water in some showers but it was also hot outside so it was nice! One of the bathroom toilets was not working, but Eddy was on top of it and was helpful. There was 1 waterbug in a room when we first arrived, but did not see any other insects. A/C works in well in 1A, not so much in 1B but not unbearable. It is a 3rd world country so many things expected.

I was delighted by my stay at this Airbnb. The place was very comfortable, clean and well equipped, ideal for resting. Also, it was perfect for children, with a safe and welcoming atmosphere. The location was also convenient, and the host was very attentive. I would definitely stay here again. Would recommend!
