Welcome to Verona Kentucky. We call this farm house "Mary's Place". Located just 19 miles from Noah's Ark and 29 miles south of The Creation Museum on 40 acres. Mary's Place allows for a quiet and private retreat right in between all that Cincinnati has to offer or Louisville, Kentucky. There are many great little restaurants and if you make a right out of the driveway you'll find yourself driving along the Ohio River. Explore Kentucky or stay in and relax. So much room to stretch out.

The Cabin

As you walk in, The Cabin wraps it's arms around you and says " Welcome home." You can feel the stress leave you as you settle in for your stay at this scenic cabin on 9.8 wooded acres. Fully furnished, spacious 1 room cabin with stone wood burning fireplace, equipped kitchen, bath with shower and twin over queen bunk bed. Refresh your mind & soul on the covered back porch overlooking the mature woods. Enjoy watching the abundant wildlife, including turkeys, deer, chipmunks and squirrels.

No neighbors! It’s not a big or fancy place but it’s clean, simple, and relaxing. The stars are brightest in the country when enjoying the fire pit. Our two story cabin has 1BR with two double beds, full kitchen, full bathroom, recliners, and grills. It's perfect for couples, friends, or small families. The Ark Encounter, Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland, and several distilleries are all within an hour of the cabin. This is a great place to relax between visits to these attractions.

And although it sits nestled on the back ridge, it is also just a short drive to many of Kentucky and Cincinnati's amazing sites. Our farm values caring for earths resources, so we have intentionally created this space with solar power, and toxic free cleaning products. (note: 2nd bed is a deluxe airmatress)

When you visit Nina’s Lakeview you will enjoy easy access to everything from the Ark Encounter to the Cincinnati Zoo. Our guests will have access to the entire side of the duplex which includes two bedrooms upstairs in addition to the full bath. The main floor offers a living room, kitchen with eat-in dining, one-half bath, and access to the balcony overlooking the lake.

This floating home is located in a beautiful setting in a cove off the Ohio River. Drive to nearby towns and visit antique shops and restaurants in Vevay and Madison, Indiana. Clifty Falls is a great place to hike. Beltera Casino Resort is down the street and the marina is also close to Rising Sun, Hollywood Casino, and Sunset Grill on the water in Warsaw, Kentucky. Conveniently located close to The Neeley Family Distillery. Some have visited the Ark while staying here also.
