Vacation rentals with a patio in Johannesburg

The place looked exactly like the pictures, super spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the city from the balcony. Sharon went above and beyond! When I mentioned that my wife and I were staying there for our honeymoon, she had a bottle of champagne waiting for us upon our arrival. It was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel special. Everything was spotless, and the location felt very safe and secure with shops just downstairs. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would 100% stay here again!

This is the best place l have stayed, a home away from home. The Host literally the best. i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay. Side note, the place feels very safe and security is tight. Loooove it and definitely coming back

This might be the most spotlessly clean place I’ve ever stayed. I was beyond impressed. I also found this place incredibly well appointed and far superior to the typical good Airbnb. I felt very much at home. I was impressed and would have a hard time staying someplace else on my next visit to Jozi. Kingsley and his partner were very responsive and pleasant and I appreciated this. I also found the staff at the building very friendly. If you are very sensitive to noise, as I am (ptsd from New York City apt living and thin walls) I would give that a little consideration., but the place was so superb in every other capacity that I think it’s too hard to pass up a stay here. I stayed two weeks and have stayed all over the world. Easily a top Airbnb experience for me, all things considered.

I stayed in this lovely place for 4 weeks and enjoyed to the fullest. Leila and her family are the most beautiful human beings and for me - travelling alone - it felt like home from the very first beginning! The bed is super comfy and the kitchen has everything you need. The area is super safe and nice to walk, restaurants and coffee nearby. I worked in Rosebank and loved being nearby. It’s the first time when AirBnB hosts become friends to me and I‘m very thankful for everything they’ve done to make my stay on Joburg so special! Book this place, you won’t get disappointed 🫶

We stayed at James house twice during our trip to South Africa. The house was even larger and nicer than the photos. We enjoyed the house and would recommend James as a reliable host.

We had a wonderful stay at this unique home in Kyalami. The place felt like a private lodge, with quirky decor that added so much charm and character. We especially loved spotting the deer and tortoises roaming around—it gave the whole experience a peaceful, nature-filled vibe. The garden, pool, and outdoor area were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning African sunsets. The 4-bedroom house was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for a group. Gary, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil, one-of-a-kind getaway close to nature.

Great house in a great location. Lived up to the photos and description! In walking distance to some great eateries and boutiques, which is a rarity in Johannesburg. Hannah was super helpful with recommending good places to eat and see. Lovely neighbourhood and a beautiful house, we will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay, no complaints. Anita and her husband were very responsive. We had a barbecue and us ladies couldn’t figure out how to turn on the BBQ stand and Anita’s husband arrived within 5mins to help us out! There was a moment of load shedding and he showed up immediately to turn on the solar before we eben called. The responsiveness made it feel so safe. We felt safe during the entirety of our stay at all hours which we appreciate as we were visiting from Australia so we were super worried before arriving. The house was pristine. The kitchen utensils were thoughtfully selected. Using everything felt so comfortable. We felt right at home and so so so hope that this Airbnb will be available next time we’re back because we will definitely book again! Thank you so much Anita and husband

Home away from home is the only way to describe this place. Beautifully decor designed inside and outside. Great location, easy to get to places around Johannesburg. The house is clean and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Patrick is an amazing host. Communication was great, always so attentive. Very friendly and welcoming. The highlight for our stay was the braai area. Such a nice hangout place to have as a feature. Looks exactly as described. Definitely booking again in the near future.

A beautiful place and relaxing, Just want I needed

This was a great stay, wish I stayed longer. The apartment itself is so cozy and clean and well located for people needing access to the airport. Everything is as it appears in the pictures and description. I look forward to booking again when I am around

A lovely apartment in a quiet neighbourhood and close to the airport.Melanie was kind enough to allow us to drop off our luggage.the weather was extremely cold but the linen , water bottles and heater kept us warm. Clear check- in instructions were shared a day before our arrival. Had a pleasant stay.

Second time staying at Bernie's place. nice apartment, with great sunlight during the day. enjoying the breakfasts in the balcony. The apartment is kept warm during winter days

Cedric's is a very well appointed and comfortable apartment, above average compared with other apartments we have stayed in at The Vantage in terms of comfort , amenities and cleanliness.

Tabeth is an incredible attentive host, the place looks even better in person and it is spotless. We had a few hiccups with gate entry system but Tabeth was so great and she was so responsive and helpful. The kitchen is fully functional and the space is quite spacious. 10/10 highly recommend
