The place was quite, clean and cozy. Perfect location, since everything is walking distance to shops, cafe’s restaurant, and the malecon. We enjoyed having our coffee and meals at the Hidalgo Cafe located in the same building. Josefina was a great host, very responsive.

This was a perfect place. The little kitchen was just what we needed and the location could not be better. The courtyard is charming and quiet and we even grilled food a couple of nights. A delightful place.

This was our third stayed at this apartment and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Spencer is a great host. He was always available when we had questions. I highly recommend this apartment.

The place has an incredible view, the pool is warm and very nice and the place is very clean and comfortable, I highly recommend it and it's also on the 1st floor

Hector is amazing. He is very responsive and great host. Great response rate and accurate information. Place was tidy and completely spotless. We enjoyed the time, and Hector made it everything easier. He provided great restaurant recommendations. If you plan to sleep until late in the morning, consider no A/C available. Sunlight hits department all morning, water fan does its job.

Definitely a nice place to stay, especially if you go to an event at the VFG Arena, as it is very close. The area is somewhat quiet. The view from the place is excellent, everything is very nice. The host was attentive to any situation that may have arisen. The place looks very good, everything in perfect condition and absolutely everything is very nice. Norma was lovely, warm and very helpful. She arranged to be there when I arrived so she could give me the key and explain how things worked. She was very clear in describing the place in advance, making sure I knew it was basic, but it totally met what I was looking for as a place to crash.

If Susan’s Casita is available for your trip to Ajijic, book it! I stayed here for 3.5 weeks and felt like a “guest” at her home. She performed above and beyond any host I’ve known. I have previously stayed in the center of Ajijic, which was a lively experience. Susan’s place is much quieter. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the center of Ajijic and the Malecón. It’s only about 15 minutes to the San Antonio Malecón, which I loved because of the incredible bird life. Spending time on the rooftop (mirador), with the beautiful surroundings, was relaxing. You’ll also get a great front-row seat of the egrets coming in for the evening to nest in the trees over the casita. The neighborhood is safe. The locals are friendly. The AC worked very well. I’d stay here again, for sure! Thank you, Susan!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Mary's casita. It is small, as we expected, but so well equipped and comfortable. Mary is the perfect host, anticipating every need her guests might have. As others pointed out, the location of the hacienda is excellent for exploring Ajijic. Before setting out each day, we enjoyed our morning coffee while overlooking the lush, well manicured courtyard. Just a great experience altogether!

If you're going to an event in Areval, it's a great place to stay. The apartment has a lake view and feels safe.

A very nice place, Angelica's service is impeccable, bring towels for the pool since there are only towels for bathing.

GREAT location just 4 blocks from the plaza. Need some instructions on how to get the water working. Hosts were very responsive and came to help us out when we had issues with the water and when I couldn't figure out how to unlock the front door. both were easy fixes. thank you for a great stay!

The help is amazing. Friendly spoke English. Rooms are very clean. Location is walking distance to plaza , lake, many restaurants etc. You are on a busy street so depending on your unit there is noise. We enjoyed our stay. We stayed in 3 , 7A is Very tiny.

Nice and quiet place, the apartment is very spacious and all the amenities were fine, the neighborhood very quiet. Perfect for getting away from the stress of the city.

We loved the accommodation, the house is very large and has a very nice terracita. The pool is bigger than it looks in the pictures and the water was hot even at night that the atmosphere was cold. The rooms are very spacious and each with its own bathroom, excellent for large groups. The host makes you feel right at home. We're definitely going back.

Our stay was great, it is a very comfortable apartment, spacious and nice, it has all the necessary utensils and is well equipped, it has grass and trees everywhere and is very nice to walk and spend the afternoon on the terrace, it is also very close to the pool club, there is jacuzzi (only for adults), very large pool and a chapoteadero (the jacuzzi and chapoteadero with warm water, nice), and it is a private and quiet place, the only disadvantage is that it is not so close to Ajijic and Chapala (about 20-25 minutes from downtown Ajijic), but I think it's worth the transfer to be in such a nice place!

We were delighted with both the attention and the place, the accommodation was what we expected and more! We were fascinated with the view from the terrace and all the comforts of the accommodation, we will definitely be back soon 🤩
