Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Jessamine County

We had to evacuate our home due to the floods and having to fur babies we had to find a safe place to accept us all. Emily was able to accept us right in with no problems. This house was so beautiful, extremely CLEAN and the location was so peaceful. In what was such a stressful time in our life, we were able to just relax and find peace in her home! We would recommend this stay to anyone! There was plenty of room, a huge yard for our pups to run around and every dish needed to cook with.

We stayed at Christian's rental to celebrate my brother's 40th birthday. It was a perfect location for Keeneland and downtown Lexington, each 15 minutes or less away. The rental exceeded our expectations, providing everything we needed in a spotless clean space. Christian as a host was outstanding. He was very responsive before and during our stay. He also went over and above by promptly shipping back something we had accidentally left at the house. Thanks Christian for making it a seamless and comfortable rental for our group. If we plan another trip to the Lexington area we'd love to stay here again.

Kathy’s home is the perfect place to stay. We had plenty of room, a lot of amenities. The outdoor space was fantastic. We felt welcomed and right at home and I would book with Kathy anytime I visit the area in the future. The home is gorgeous and in a safe neighborhood. I highly recommend this property for your next trip to Lexington.

We had a great stay at this house! It was clean and spacious and had everything you could ask for. The dock was beautiful and was a perfect spot to hang out at. Would definitely book again when going to Herrington Lake.

We had a nice stay at this property—Ryan was super responsive and helpful throughout. The location was fantastic, and we really appreciated the thoughtful amenities and the fact that there were minimal checkout chores, which made things easy. Be warned if you stay here, this is a basement within someone's house. I think the listing was a bit misleading. We were expecting a disconnected suite or a whole mini-house based on the description, but this is a basement unit within someone’s home. Ryan owns a dog, so we occasionally heard barking and frequent claws across hardwood upstairs. The suite does have its own entrance through the backyard and the interior door to the upstairs remained locked the entire time, but it was initially a bit jarring. Once we settled in, though, everything was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and we still enjoyed our time there.

William’s home was the perfect vacation spot! Quiet and peaceful! We spent most of our time in the pool or sitting outside with our dogs. With the fenced in yard, it made it so easy to have them out there with us. William was extremely responsive to any questions we had. House was very clean and very welcoming! We hope to be back sometime soon!

My husband and I and another couple stayed at The Blue Heron for a long weekend, hoping to get some golf in. Shelly was helpful prior to our arrival with grocery and dinner suggestions. We were able to find the place with no problems and had easy access to get in. Very quiet location. Did not see anyone the entire stay. The main house was the perfect size for 4 people. Living room/kitchen provided enough space for us all to be together. The deck would have be great space with the fire pit and outdoor seating. We just happened to come during a 4 day nonstop rain. Which did make for great sleeping. The boathouse provided space for the couple we came with. It had a queen bed, small sitting area bathroom and a great view. The main house had a great loft for the other bedroom. The bed and pillows were amazing. Although we did not get one round of golf in, we did find fun things to do in Lexington. It was very relaxing and we look forward to coming back when the weather is better/warmer.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and smelled good upon arrival. Beds were VERY comfortable and bedding super soft. The giant walk-in shower in the big bedroom was the bomb with the oversized shower head. We really liked the screened-in porch (with a tv!) The property was private and quiet. We are older folks who didn’t attempt the very steep stairs to the water, but the view was great from the deck. We enjoyed antique shopping in Danville and Harrodsburg. Cattleman’s, Drakes and the Red Rooster were all good restaurants. An over all great stay!

This is our second visit to Jon's listing. We enjoy the location and easy access to the Kentucky Horse Park. The apartment is lovely and very spacious and was accommodating for 5 people. I highly recommend this property.

We had the best weekend! Great location but felt away from the business of Lexington! Wish we would have been able to stay longer than the weekend.

This listing in Midway was just wonderful. Beautiful location, easy check-in and access and pristine, clean unit. We booked this listing last minute due to visiting family in the area with some medical needs. The kitchen was so fully stocked we were able to prepare a few meals for family with no issues. Our request to extend the stay an extra night was accepted with kindness. If you are traveling to Midway or the greater Lexington area do not hesitate to book this lovely listing in a beautiful location.

My stay here was wonderful. The apartment is beautiful and so peaceful and serene. The bathroom is gorgeous, the bed was so comfy. Kathy was wonderful to speak to and I felt right at home. I would absolutely stay here again if I am ever back this way.

Absolutely loved Bourbon Barrel cottages! Beautiful setting out in the rolling hills of Kentucky. Lose to distilleries and restaurants yet out far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Angie was out every day tending to the beautiful landscaping. They even offer fresh eggs on-site. Book this place next time you’re in bourbon country, you won’t be disappointed!

Really enjoyed our stay it’s so quiet and relaxing having the lake a few steps away it’s really nice. The house has a very welcoming feeling it’s great. Anytime we’re back in the area we will definitely plan to stay at Josie’s.

John’s cabin was perfect for our family. It had more than we needed to make us feel right at home and live comfortably for a few days. We enjoyed the big porch and the beautiful, quiet scenery. This cabin is such a little hidden gem and we would love to stay again! If you have the chance to stay here then book this cabin!

Alex’s place was exactly what we wanted for a weekend away! Close to all of the distilleries and far enough away for some peace and quiet. The house was cozy and a great place to relax after a day out. Would highly recommend staying here if looking for a spot to crash while checking out some of the great distilleries KY has to offer!

Affordable, beautiful and unique little place perfect for a couple, but we are proof it even works for a family of 4 😊 Kim and Ryan were very attentive and responded immediately to every question we had and made every step of our stay easy and enjoyable. We really loved the playground and all the animals, especially the cats who were very friendly...and the goats as well! We will definitely be back for our next trek down south! Thanks so much!

The cabin was fantastic for our stay. Very clean and spacious home. We had no issues getting to and from with the single lane road, the area seems really low traffic. Scenery was beautiful, especially early morning. No noise, just the birds chirping.

The cabin was wonderful! I loved how everything in it gave the feel of the time period, while still having modern conveniences. It was a wonderful location, close to Lexington, Richmond and Berea. All places we love to visit. Enjoyed looking through the book that showed the restoration process of the cabin. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone if traveling in the Lexington Kentucky area.
