Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Jefferson County

Lori and her husband were great hosts! We met Rob when he came to work in the yard, and he was very friendly and told us about the river access and fire pit, etc. The house was clean, comfortable, and cozy. Our family of nine fit just fine! We enjoyed the farmhouse decor in the kitchen, and the river view and small beach was lovely! Also, the neighbors were very friendly, helpful, and fun to talk with. It’s a wonderful neighborhood and place to be, and we had a great time there. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

The best stay! She was always on top of any questions I had and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I worked long hours so she even took a package to the UPS store for me. The sweetest woman!

All and all we loved the place , very relaxing , and super homey ! We caught some nice bass and black croppie out of the pond. The only thing I have to complain about was the smell of sewage and the hard water and ants inside. Other than that it’s definitely worth the price and very family friendly ! Will definitely book again 🙂

The house was very clean located in a long driveway where we enjoyed the peace and quiet of nature with great views from the back porch where we spend most of our time during our short stay. Hopefully we can stay again sometime!

This was a gorgeous home. We had the whole upstairs. Beautifully decorated. Spotless. Cute kitchen, well stocked. Homemade cookies were left for us on the kitchen table! The owners greeted us when we arrived. A wonderful place to stay!

I came up to Cadiz for my step-dad's memorial service. It was a beautiful, yet emotional trip. It was so nice to come back to the room in the evenings, and even more to wake up to the deck over-looking the nature and being greeted with bird song. The room was clean, with all the basics I could need. The weather kept going back and forth from warm to cold because of spring. I was grateful for the extra heater. I would stay here in a heartbeat again. I could hear the other guest a little in the house, but nothing distracting. There are Many steps to get to the room. So if someone is elderly, or has difficulty navigating stairs, this would be the only thing to take into consideration. The family was responsive when I had a challenge with the lock on the door. It was very clean and the bed comfortable. Very sweet room and view. It was the perfect place to stay for me.

One of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. The wild mustard cabin is serene and private with tons of beautiful flora and fauna (birds, butterflies, and fireflies galore). The cabin is totally off grid with solar power and rain water (with filtration), which is exactly what we wanted. We read and hiked and swam in the creek and had a lovely time. We didn’t get to meet Jo Ellen, but we met Jim and their dog who were both friendly and fantastic. Definitely looking forward to coming back in the future.

We truly enjoyed this trip!! The location was perfect. The cabin was 5 minutes away from the Marina, where we had our boat. It was comfortable, private and fishing from the back yard was good. (We landed a few big catfish!) If you're coming to this lake, this is an excellent option for a rental house!

The cabin was so beautiful, and I felt very much at home, Aimee left a special gift for us and was very much appreciated for all she did to help me

I booked this for my bridesmaids and I for the night before my wedding. The cabin is beautiful and so clean. Alissa left us some snacks and toiletries in case we needed something. She was very friendly and always checked in to make sure we were okay. We went for a walk to the lake and the neighbors were all waving and saying hi to us. It was honestly a very friendly area and we felt safe. The cabin had beautiful interior natural sunlight which was great for getting ready photos.

I loved the place, it was comfortable and quaint. Michelle was sweet and accommodating. she brought me a beautiful breakfast on the house because my dad has stage 4 cancer and I was on a getaway trip. I am his caregiver. it took me a minute to get used to the incinerator toilet but there are instructions on the bathroom door going outside. I was making harder than it is. but that's me. the bed was comfortable. the scenery was beautiful. this cabin is great for one or two people, if you need more space, check out her larger one behind this one which is gorgeous and has running water and a view of the horses in the field that you can watch and give treats to. she left treats in both cabins to give the horses. I want to return because I was sick on the trip with migraines. looking forward to a return trip. thanks for your kindness Michelle. it was great to meet you!

This Airbnb was the perfect peaceful getaway! Tucked in a quiet, remote area, the house was cozy, well-maintained, and surrounded by serene nature. It was a wonderful spot to relax and unwind, with all the comforts of home. Collin was extremely responsive during our stay when we had questions. Highly recommend for anyone seeking tranquility!

First AirBNB stay and was very impressed. House was wonderful, everything was clean and the initial message I received from the host was well detailed. The location is very peaceful and just what we were looking for. Would absolutely stay here again in the future if in the area.
