The Cabin at Crockett Creek
Located in the Spruce Creek community near Jamestown, Tennessee, this cozy, romantic cabin has a horse barn and stables on site and provides immediate access to horse trails that travel deep within the 123,000-acre Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. Hiking trails are also nearby, providing access to many of Big South Fork's scenic mountain streams, waterfalls, rock houses and natural arches. The Cabin at Crockett Creek is 700+ square feet and sleeps two people comfortably in a Queen-size bed. There is also a loft with a full-size bed for little people or agile adults. Pets are permitted (additional fee) and the cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with Keurig coffee maker, a combination washer/dryer and a fireplace on the screened porch just perfect for romantic evenings. The Cabin also features high speed wireless internet service that allows for streaming both movies and TV as well as wi-fi phone calls and laptop usage. The towns of Oneida and Jamestown are a short car drive away. Outside you will find picnic tables, two comfortable hammocks, a campfire pit, gas grill, and a 200+ square foot screened porch with comfortable furniture, ceiling fans, and a wood-burning fireplace, as well as a screened cabana that holds an 86-jet hot tub! Horse Stalls: Horse Stalls are $25.00 per stall per horse/per night. Proof of negative Coggins is required. Items included with barn/stall rentals include water, electricity, manure fork, rake, and wheel barrel. Guest is required to provide own feed, feeding/watering buckets, bedding and lock if preferred. Also guest must clean the stall and or stalls upon departure. In order to keep the facility well maintained, a $25.00 fee per stall will be charged if not cleaned upon departure. Pets: Our cabin is pet-friendly. Pets are accepted with prior approval only and are subject to a non-refundable $25 pet fee per pet. Pets are limited to 2 per cabin. Pets are required to be in a crate if left alone. Pets are not allowed on furniture or bed spreads. Renters are subject to extra cleaning fees if we find pets have been on furniture or bed spreads.

Take the stairs down from the wrap around porch to the overlook to see a breathtaking natural scene then take just a few more stairs down to the dome rock house to the left which leads to a small trail to see the gorge. More trails behind the owner's cabin lead to even more natural rock and water features.

Totally peaceful :-) My favorite time of year is winter at the cabin. Nothing like sitting in the hot tub and looking out over the frosty trees and mountains!
