I recently had the pleasure of staying at La riviere waterfront and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The host, Aanshu , welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like part of the family. The homestay itself is beautifully maintained, with cozy rooms, comfortable beds, and impeccable cleanliness. What truly sets this Homestay apart, however, is the amazing view of nature.The host went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, providing valuable recommendations and insights into the local culture. Nikhil and Aarti's homestay, Anoop's by Deerwood Cottages, Jagdhar, is an amazing, cozy place! We had selected the place just by seeing the snap of the Himalayan views from their cottage and we were lucky that the weather was clear and crisp and we got the exact same views! The home is very well maintained and the decor is excellent! Host Nikhil was around all the time and was very helpful and friendly. The most important thing that we are grateful for is that the food was customised as per our needs. We were a bunch of people between the age range of 12 to 82! One of my aunts had zero tolerance level for spices, so we asked them to keep aside one small serving for her, in every meal, with zero spices; and they did just exactly that and my aunt was super happy! We had a nice stay at the property. It is surrounded by beautiful scenic view 😍 very neat and clean. Food was delicious. Staff is cooperative. Peaceful and wonderful staycation, must be visited again. Thankyou so much staff for being proactive .

We had an absolutely amazing time at Vama Homestead. The rooms were spacious and clean.. The host Vardaan Chawla (more of a friend) is absolutely a gem of a person..going out all the way to make our stay a memorable one..Explained us about the area and other topography..Accompanied us to a small river side hike which was absolutely stunning sight..The staff were attentive as well prompt and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable..and last but not the least being a foodie group we were served with best of lip smacking dishes throughout our stay.. Breakfast, lunch, hi tea, barbeque snacks and dinner were quite elaborate made with best of ingredients.. I know it's a bit long review but am compelled to write for the great hospitality we received.. It had everything we could wish for...If planning for a quiet, no hassles great location awesome food then just go for it.. You won't regret.. Only thing to keep in mind is there a small trek from parking to reach the resort..

We, two families stayed at this homestay for 2 nights. The homestay is located in a beautiful location. The view from the homestay is stunning, and we could see the mountains and the dam. Few things that will stay in our memories for lifetime are. -Beautiful view -Homely atmosphere ( felt like visiting a friend's place) -Welcoming and helpful host ( Vikas proactively called me and gave instructions. Nice meeting Arjun at the homestay, who was so helpful and friendly.) -Comfortable rooms Overall: We had a great time staying at this homestay, and we would definitely recommend it to others.

One of the best home-stays in India. After a lot of search, we finally landed on this listing. Thanks to Airbnb for providing a platform to such unique village houses. It is made passionately by using stones and mud from the land itself. The walls are thick with exposed stones on the outside and the interiors are plastered with mud and straw. Warm and eco-friendly. The red-oxide floor gives a rustic feel. The cottage is surrounded by pine trees and wild vegetation. The owners have also planted flowers which makes it pretty colorful. Both my partner and I love cooking, we were carrying stuff from home and spent time dishing out meals while my boys freely explored the vast surroundings. The local host visited daily, he was helpful in coordinating a lot of things like grocery, milk and other supplies. He also fixed a house help from the village who helped us with daily chores. I never wanted to come back! Recommended for sure :)
