The hostel "Casa Guama" is a beautiful colonial house built in the 1940s, with high struts and a constructive style that keeps the house in the colonial style that gave rise to it. Large windows and doors allow a natural ventilation that guarantee a pleasant ambient temperature inside the house. We didn't have anything to do with Edy but Daniel was just amazing! He cared for us like family. The place was spotless clean when we got there and Daniel did everything to make us feel comfortable. The downside of this place is that there's no WiFi (Daniel manages for you go get WiFi in a hotel about 15mins walking in the centre). And for the usual power cuts in Cienfuegos it's recommended to bring power banks etc.

Grizzly, Raidel's aunt, is adorable and helped me plan a taxi to Trinidad for half a day, a good hour's drive. The environment is very nice with a beautiful beach and daytime restaurants on the beach. In the evening Grizel can apparently cook, and especially the breakfast is hearty for €5 and prepared with all her attention. I recommend it.

Sleeping in a house built in 1902 was an incredible experience, the architecture of the property was already worth a lot, close to the main tourist spots, it was also exceptional for the short time I stayed in the city. It was kind of you to let me in before check-in time, which made the whole project of my itinerary a lot easier. The city is well worth a visit

We loved the place, I'm sorry we only stayed one night! The apartment is in a peaceful neighborhood, walkable to the town, beautiful view and has electric power. If you have the chance don't miss Michele'sfood, he is a great cook! We loved the meals he prepared. He is also good at giving advice, we really felt the love. Highest recommendations from us! Lleana's home is beautiful and well situated near the centre of Cinefuegos - and only a short walk from the bus station, put the address into mapsme and it's very easy to find! (Buzz at the front door to get in.) Lleana was welcoming and patient with my poor Spanish, and the room is well kitted out for the regular blackouts, with a solar / battery light and fans for your use. Lleana helped book my collectivo on to Trinidad via el Nicho, which was great. Gracias!
