Vacation rentals with lake access in Jackson County

This lake house is the perfect spot for a family looking to get away. We’re a family of 9 and need alot of space and this spot was absolutely perfect. We spent most of our time in the sunroom overlooking the lake. the location is awesome just near KC but far enough to be completely silent at night. Autumn was a great host. i needed to call a couple times and she was very responsive and pleasant to work with. the price wasn’t bad at all, in fact it was the cheapest available and by far the most accommodating. We’re going to come back a few times this year as we transition back to KC.

We had a girls get away weekend and this was exactly what we needed. It allowed us plenty of space to talk and catch up while we prepared meals and played games.

I had a wonderful stay at Aaron’s lakeside home. The house is charming and comfortable, situated in a lovely, walkable neighborhood, with easy access to the lake. The lake itself is the highlight of the property: so beautiful and serene. Aaron is also a true pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this airbnb.

Andrew and Marisa are great hosts and make you feel right at home! The space was clean, and the location was convenient. Would definitely recommend!

This house was the perfect escape for our girls’ weekend! Beautiful and secluded residence but very conveniently located to restaurants, walking trails, and the airport. The host was proactive, friendly and communicative. The space was clean, cozy, and well- stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed sipping our coffee out on the back patio and admiring the flower gardens planted there. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a KC getaway!

We loved staying here! We originally planned on spending our days with family in the area but our kids all got sick so we stayed in more than we thought. We enjoyed watching DVDs and watching the snow fall. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

I will start this review off by saying my wife and I got married in smithville, mo(the brim) and booked this place for our “honeymoon” it’s a beautiful secluded location. The pictures were just as described and the interior and exterior is amazing. We felt instantly at home with this location. Mark had great communication and helped us out even when we made a mistake on our end. Mark was hospitable and helped make our day/weekend memorable. I would highly recommend this place, it is not only a hidden gem of a location but the host, Mark did a great job with the environment and hosting.

We were the first to book for the season; they often close for the winter. We have stayed here prior and consider it our “go to” for the area. Upgraded furniture and leather recliners. They added features to the kitchen (which is nothing short of amazing). We cook in quite a bit and wanted for nothing. Upgraded outdoor spaces including a kitchen! Stop scrolling and just book this place. It is beautiful, they take good care of you, and they clearly work hard. See you next year!

Kelly's Carriage House was just as pictured. Peaceful, private and centrally located to everything I wanted to do and see. I would highly recommend and stay again.

Quiet, woodsy, pet and family friendly retreat. We arrived at night and thought we were remote. In the morning we found that the nearest grocery store is only a half mile away and we were close to all the activities in town. Check-in was seamless. Kelly lives in a house on the same property and offered services that wouldn't otherwise be available... She brought single-origin coffee to our door and offered free range eggs. We were there for Superbowl weekend, so it was too cold to play outside, but there is a play structure, woods and a pond that we would usually love.

Cliff's place is awesome! We've stayed there twice with our dogs and enjoyed it each time. It's very easy to get to downtown Kansas City and practically any other spot you'd want to visit

Absolutely enjoyed everything about our stay. The Cottage is definitely one for everyone to add to their bucket list.
