Great place to stay! Convenient to Kansas City and Lawrence.

The home was so spacious. 6 bedrooms and 3 of them have a private bathroom! The home was clean and nicely decorated. Johnny was very helpful with an early check in and very responsive. Excellent home!

Great place. We loved our stay

We have stayed here before and it was as great as before. Location is great. There is a park across the street and restaurants close by. The road has little traffic. The bed is very comfy and the house is wonderfully functional and furnished.

William was an excellent host! He was very responsive and helpful and was very accommodating when we had a mishap. His home is just like on the pictures, very beautiful and keeps a very clean home! We will definitely be visiting this gem again!

We visit KC twice a year to visit in-town family and with our own family size having grown in recent years, we need the extra space and quiet that hotels can't really provide. Lisa's home more than fit the criteria for space, spacious bedrooms, quiet neighborhood, etc. She was professional, responsive and timely in her communication and made the check-in and check-out straightforward. We will absolutely check her place's availability on our next planned visit.

We had the pleasure of stay at Zachary's airbnb and it was more than we could have expected. He was extremely friendly and helpful. The house was absolutely beautiful and more than we could have asked for. We will definitely be staying with him again!

We were in the KC area primarily to see family but we did take in some sights. Our location was great for easily accessing The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and Jazz Museum (high recommend), City Market and Kaufman Stadium. We found Sister Anne’s Record Shop and Coffee, very walkable from our place (also a high recommend). We also enjoyed starting each day with a walk around the neighborhood to view the historic homes.

We loved our stay at the Secret Service House! My traveling party enjoyed the history of the property. Some of our plans had to change due to bad weather, but we were able to still have a blast with the excellent entertaining space that is the living room/dining room. We had a ping pong tournament that went well into the night. The bedrooms and bathrooms were as described and the neighborhood was relatively quiet. There was a bit of road noise, but that's to be expected on a corner lot. Our host was communicative but also hands off. There were clear check-in/check-out instructions. We would definitely stay here again if life takes us back to Independence!

Was the perfect size for the group of friends we had! Walking in I was immediately in awe with how clean this place was. We spent a lot of time in the basement playing pool and darts. It was such a fun addition to this place! Also loved that it had some pull-out couches in the basement. My group forgot to bring snacks, and thankfully she had a whole tray of an assortment of snacks sitting on the counter for us. Check in was quick and easy. Was a quick uber ride to everything downtown. Would highly recommend this place!

Emily was very responsive and accommodating! Her home was beautiful and very clean, which made us feel right at home. It is located in a very quiet area, but just a short drive from downtown restaurants. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area!

Great location- clean and no issues.

Staying with William was great! I had myself and 5 friends here for a get together bachelor type weekend since I’m getting married in May. There was plenty of beds for everyone, and we just had a blast playing board games and hitting the town. Would definitely recommend this home if you are looking for a great place to stay in the KC area :)

Awesome place to stay! We will definitely be staying here again when we come to town, if available! It was clean, cozy and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of extra towels and bedding if needed. Host was very responsive!

Wonderful experience

Auguste was very responsive and helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed for an easy stay. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Great location within 10-15 minutes of all local destinations. We felt safe and parking was easy.

Spacious and comfy space on beautiful tree lined street within walking distance to restaurants and within short drive to all the fun things.

Let me say this honeyyyy! It was a pleasure staying at the Blue House! Comfy, clean, spacious but with that cute modern feel! I will definitely keep this spot in my kc favorites too picks. Dylan made it very easy for check-in and check-out.

Really appreciate the clean comfortable home in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The kitchen had excellent pots and pans and utensils for cooking. We enjoyed the screened porch to enjoy the rain and thunderstorm. Would definitely stay here again.

I love this place. By far the most beautiful house I’ve ever stayed in. Beds are comfortable. The two main rooms are enormous. My family found it perfect. My only complaint is I couldn’t stay longer

This home is beautiful and extremely well appointed with everything our group of 8 needed for a family reunion in KC! The location is SO close to the Plaza & Westport, and in a lovely residential neighborhood. Adam, our host, was extremely responsive and helpful. We had originally reserved another location, but it had no running water when we arrived. I reached out to Adam through Airbnb, and he immediately jumped into action to prepare this home for our extended family's arrival. He truly "saved the day" for our group, including accommodations for extra time to check out after my husband was injured playing soccer in Loose Park! Thank you again Adam. We will definitely be back when visiting KC in the future! I only wish I could give you MORE stars!🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
