Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Jackson County

This is a beautiful home with all the amenities! It was pristinely clean, smelling great, but not overpowering at all! Easy to check in, I had one little snag with the Ring alarm system, but Nicole and Damion responded quickly to help. The beds were comfy, pillows too, even though I brought my own. No ceiling fans in the bedrooms, but there were these wonderful oscillating desk fans that did the job just fine! I liked sleeping with it on so much, that I may have to get one for my own room! The TVs had many subscription services already signed in and available with a profile for Airbnb guests so that was nice. Shampoo and body wash was even provided! The view from the deck and the huge living room windows was awesome as well! Plenty of space to relax! Loved this home! Thanks for a great weekend!

This place is a rare gem. If a relaxed boho style and a chill vibe is what you are looking for- here it is. A very unique place. We loved the stock tank pool and hot tub, the patio, the grounds, the view and all the amazing special touches throughout the entire home. There are thoughtful items everywhere like phone chargers, speakers, citronella candles, lots of blankets and towels and paper goods, games,etc. Comfy beds and pillows! The cabin was a fun and enchanting place to explore and my 5yo grandson was thrilled with the stair perch and the secret room. We were, too. Lots of room and lots of spaces if you need alone time. We could have stayed a long time and plan on coming back.

Great stay for a fishing tourney in Scottsboro on Lake Guntersville!!! Can’t wait to book again for next year!! EXCELLENT hosts!!!!

The cabin is in a great location with privacy and easy access from the highway. It’s in a great location for fishing and is close to several boat ramps and a bait shop. I Would definitely recommend this place.

The tiny house was wonderful! It had everything we needed for our stay near bucks pocket state park and Lake Guntersville. This would be the perfect place for someone who wanted to try a tiny house for the first time (or second, third, etc.). The location was actually close enough to the park that we were able to walk to one of the trail heads. In addition, it was within 10 or 15 minutes from a number of great activities. We spent time fishing at Morgan’s Cove, visited High Falls, rented a boat at the town Creek fishing center on Lake Guntersville, and had an amazing hamburger at Tickled Pink. All within about 15 minutes from the house. We are definitely planning to stay here again in the future.

What a beautiful and quiet retreat. Had everything you could need. Lots of outdoor spaces. Amazing view and the fact that everyone had their own bathroom was great! Thank you so much!

We loved staying at this little cabin get a way! Exactly as described. Perfect for rest and relaxation! Loved listening to nature and the rain sitting on the screened in porch! Beds extremely comfortable and all linens/towels were very nice! For the price, it can’t be beat and exceeded our expectations! We will be back!

The cabin was nice and clean. The hosts were friendly when contacted. Had trouble with WIFI. Hosts gave us the password to the cabin across the driveway so that was fine. Good experience overall. We love the large walk-in shower with good water pressure which was a pleasant change for most places we have been. We’d recommend this cabin to a stay at for a couple or small family.

we loved our stay at the Yurt! It was exactly what we wanted! We enjoyed the hotub, pool, volleyball court, basketball court and the petting zoo! We also did the hiking trail across the street where you can visit AL, GA, and TN! Just be prepared it is very steep and you’ll feel very accomplished once you get to the top! My only complaint is we had many flies in our room, I believe they were coming from the 3 bags of trash that sat outside of the yurt hopefully this was a one time thing!

After we got passed Airbnb giving us the wrong code to enter the apartment we had no further problems and enjoyed our stay. The co-host Lorraine was very helpful. The train and highway traffic were annoying but, tolerable. We prefer more of a country setting. This apartment was in the suburbs so it was close to amenities, which was a positive aspect.

They were great, and the place was clean. The scenery is the best part, I love that they had an accommodating back porch that was netted in.

It was one of the best Airbnb that we have stayed at so far. We throughly enjoyed it and the surrounding property. It’s a nice little getaway, highly recommend it.

This was a wonderful apartment and a lot bigger than we expected! It is beautifully decorated and the couches and beds are very comfortable! Loved having the loft for the kids to sleep in, it was a big hit! The apartment was very clean which we appreciate! Joy is very conscientious and made us feel at home! Even helping with our little missteps without complaint! We really appreciated the little flowers and decorations we found around the home made it feel special! There is plenty of parking and the neighborhood is beautiful! We recommend this place to everyone!

I can’t say enough good things about this place!!! It was absolutely adorable and just like the pictures. Inside had everything you would need for a nice stay. To me, what makes an airbnb great is a comfortable bed, air that blows cold, and feeling safe there. This place had all 3! This was my first solo trip so if I felt safe anyone will. The cabin is connected to another house but I had no issues with the guests there. I got the privilege of meeting Claire and she was so kind! If i’m ever in the area again this is the place i’d stay!

Nicely decorated, spacious apartment! Host was very friendly and helpful.

Pro's -HUGE house!! -HUGE nice yard for the pups to play. -Nice deck -Big windows and could see out. -AC was COLD, it felt AMAZING!! -Bed was so nice and soft and the sheets was VERY clean even looked ironed. -Pillows were nice and soft. -Liens smelt clean and fresh. -Felt safe. -Washer and dryer worked well. Con's -Door was not locked upon arrival and would not lock when we left. -The house smelt badly, cigarette smoke and moldy. -The bathroom ceiling paint? was hanging down. -The bathroom switches was hanging out the wall, they need to be fixed ASAP. -All fire alarms were chirping, husband relaced batteries during our stay. -Dishwasher door would not lock so we could start it before we left. -No trash bags in trash can in kitchen. -Refrigerator was not very clean. The house is VERY outdated and needs a makeover.
