Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Welcome to Ivalo Basecamp! The two-room apartment is located on the second floor of a small apartment building right next to the center of Ivalo. The apartment has room for four, and it is suitable for couples, families and small groups. All the services, cafes and shops in Ivalo village are within a short walking distance. This is a good place to stop on your way to Norway or even on a hiking trip further north to Finland. In winter, a great base for a skiing holiday in Saariselkä. Welcome!

Vuonna 2024 alkuvuodesta valmistunut viihtyisä, hyvin varusteltu ja moderni mökki Laanilassa noin 3 km päässä Saariselän keskustasta. Mökki sijaitsee lähellä hiihto-, pyöräily- ja ulkoilureittejä. Avarasta tupakeittiöstä on kaunis metsänäkymä. Saunaosasto on ylellinen ja moderni. Mökissä majoittuu mukavasti esimerkiksi pariskunta. Olohuoneen vuodesohva on levitettävä ja siten mökkiin voi majoittua lisäksi esimerkiksi 1-2 lasta. Mökin pihassa on ilmainen parkkialue sekä autolle lämpötolppa.

HOX! Sauna is not in use in May 2026! Peaceful log accommodation located next to the lake Inari. Main building, hut and storage. A parking lot and pier at lake. Dry toilet away from main building, no running water but in summer a tube from the spring. 12V electricity from the battery for lighting and usb-charging. If necessary, 230V electricity with generator. The kitchen has a gas stove and a 12V refrigerator or a small gas refrigerator. The cabin is heated with a fireplace and stove.

The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). Beautiful lake and fell scenery opens straight away from the front door and sauna. Cottage has modern equipments for cozy living, a fireplace and wood-heated sauna. During the evenings you can hear huskies howling few kilometers away and hopefully spot the auroras dancing above the lake. Entrance to bathroom through cold veranda.
