Lake house vacation rentals in Ithaca

The house is beautifully renovated and very high tech!!! The kitchen is a dream. Loved the furniture and fire pit on the deck. Convenient to Ithaca and many restaurants/ hikes. Master bed very comfortable. Love that each bedroom has its own bathroom. We all took turns with the massage chair every night - it was a big hit! Lorena was very kind and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Do not hesitate to book this little piece of heaven! We stayed a full week and I didn’t want to leave. The deck and pier provide gorgeous views right on the lake. We spent many, many hours outside enjoying the beauty and peacefulness. Tips: As described, be sure to bring in plenty of drinking water. We drank lots of coffee in the mornings, just sitting on that gorgeous deck. If the stairs make you nervous, try the futon. It was quite comfortable, especially turned 90 degrees. Try to use the back door sparingly (unless you have to lock up). Lots of mosquitoes back there! We mostly used the door that faces the lake. We were relieved to find sunblock and bug spray there. We had forgotten those. You’ll definitely need them. Check out The Windmill (15 min) shops. Also highly recommend Hermann J Wiemer winery just 5 min up the road. Great tasting experience. Make a reservation first on their website.

We loved this house! Exactly as described. Very clean, well maintained, cute decor with personal touches, but it’s the views that are incredible, beautiful, and peaceful. The location is stunning, and the amazing Taughannock Falls are less than a mile down the road. Andy was responsive, friendly and welcoming. We were in town for college graduation (IC or Cornell are about a 20 minute drive), with parents and grandparents. Was a great spot for all of us. When I asked if there was an iron (had to get those graduation clothes ready!), Andy made sure one was in the house for us when we got there. One thing to know - the beach and the dock are down a steep set of stairs. Andy offered use of his tram if we needed help getting down there, so that’s a nice option. There is a nice grassy area and dock by the water. I highly recommend this place!

We were just so happy with the home as it did feel like we were right at home. We had six adults and there was more than enough room. The location was ideal for getting around Seneca Lake. Being right on the lake, it was a beautiful view and the hot tub was super. We would not hesitate to return to this property as we do love the Finger Lakes.

The property is beautiful, the host is very responsive, and the location is great! Wineries, waterfalls, and hikes nearby! So much fun.

From booking to checkout, Cheryl was excellent to deal with as a host. Everything was clearly explained to make our stay fantastic. The home was better than advertised on the web and the nicest home we have stayed in during our many visits to the Finger Lakes. All amenities as described with tremendous views of Seneca Lake from inside and outside the home. Very close to many places to hike, shop and visit wineries/breweries. Highly recommend this home and host!

We are so happy to have found this rental in Tully, halfway between my family of 5 from Ohio and my sister's family of 4 from Massachusetts! The house and property were beautiful and comfortable. The pictures do a good job showing the house, but it is more impressive in person. Our stay was full of outdoor adventures including hiking, paddleboarding/kayaking, s'mores at the fire pit, and exploring the nearby area. We also experienced wonderful live music: Friday night at Huega's Alpine and Saturday night at Beak & Skiff. Nate & Molly were responsive and helpful during our stay. Nate brought over some extra life jackets so everyone could be on the lake safely together and he also found an item we left behind and offered to mail it. I highly recommend staying at Heron's Landing.

My husband and I had the best time here!!! This place is even better than in pictures. Very convenient location, in the middle of Cayuga and an easy drive over to Seneca. The dock seemed new and was beautiful. The lot was private and tranquil. VERY CLEAN!!! Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful home and lovely location! Hosts were communicative and helpful. The slider off the dining room needs some attention (very difficult to open) but everything else was just lovely! We would choose this home again if we are in the area!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the house! The hosts were kind enough to allow us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. The home is well-equipped and well-maintained, with everything we needed thoughtfully provided. We especially loved the beautiful aesthetics and design throughout the space. There was plenty of outdoor space to enjoy—comfortable seating, fun games, and a relaxing hot tub. We didn’t have enough time to experience everything, but we’re already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay. Thank you also for arranging the boat rental—the experience on Lake Owasco was absolutely beautiful. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

The property is very nice and right on the lake with beautifulviews. The house is very clean and has a well stocked kitchen. We would recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful time at Mary’s on the lake. We had 2 small dogs and it was perfect for them. There is a fenced in area by the house and they also enjoyed being with us by the lake. They were afraid of the steps at first, but we just carried them down. We kayaked, used the peddle boat and had a fire by the shore. My teenagers even had fun. There are many waterfalls in the area that we were fortunate enough to visit. The gorge at Watkins Glen state park was one the best things we’ve ever seen. Rainbow Falls was amazing. Thank you!

5/5 Stars – A Perfect Family Getaway in Skaneateles, NY! We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful, upgraded home in Skaneateles! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, comfortable, and well-maintained everything was. The house had everything we needed, and the thoughtful touches made it feel like a home away from home. Our kids especially had a blast with the trampoline and playhouse in the yard—they couldn’t get enough! In the evenings, we enjoyed the serene campfire in the backyard, making s’mores and relaxing under the stars. The front pond added such a peaceful, picturesque touch to the property. We also appreciated how safe and family-friendly the house and neighborhood felt. It was the perfect setting for a memorable family trip. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

What a delightful retreat we had at Casa Del Rosso! Jeannie and Mario are not only gracious hosts but also exceptional communicators who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless. Anything we needed was either thoughtfully provided at the house or quickly delivered by Jeannie herself. The home is a haven for culinary enthusiasts—a true chef's paradise—with every utensil, platter, and gadget you could dream of. Beyond the kitchen, a treasure trove of fun awaits in the shed, including life jackets, yard games, coolers, and more. The kayaks and paddle boat were an absolute hit with our family! Speaking of family, we are a group of six, and the house accommodated us with ease and comfort. The views from the property are nothing short of breathtaking; being right on the lake was pure magic. So many special touches & extras. The fresh strawberries were amazing! All the lake sporting activity equipment was a huge bonus! The screen porch was the BEST - from the porch swing to the large table where we could eat & play games while overlooking the lake. Absolutely loved our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. A lot of boating and fishing was done. Was nice to wake up to a lake view every morning. Would stay thereafter again.

The house is small and cozy, perfect for a couple. We loved it. The sunrise looking out the living room windows is phenomenal. The views of the lake are great. Non-stop fish jumping in the lake. Fishing from the dock was good. Caught a bass by the dock.

Our family had a great time at this beautiful property. The lake view was perfect - we even saw a local otter a few times from the back deck. The hot tub was a great spot to relax at the end of a long day. The Finger Lakes in general are lovely and this was a very relaxing place to stay in the area. Naples is very close and has a full grocery, plus restaurants and ice cream parlors - we can highly recommend trying the strawberry at Lynnie Lou’s! The property appeared exactly as the photos. Everything was clean, orderly, and well supplied. Our two boys loved the bunk room, especially watching a movie from the top bunks before bed. Highly recommend, would love to stay here again - if only it weren’t a 15 hour drive!

We very much enjoyed our stay at David’s home. The interior is fully renovated with all amenities as described- a rare find for multi-family space requirements and lake-front access.

The stay started with walking into an amazing open living room with large windows that looks out into the water. The feel, the space, and the view is even better than what the pictures try to capture. We had dinner right in town and it was just over 5 minutes away. The kiddos really enjoyed the paddle boards and littke kayaks, we went everyday, sometimes twice. Beautiful place, great getaway. Grateful for this stay, and would come back again!

Just returned home from our stay at Max’s home and it was absolutely gorgeous! We had a total of 9 guests (4 adults, 3 teenagers & 2 children) and there was plenty of space for all of us! This is by far the cleanest AirBNB I have ever stayed in. Our weather unfortunately was not the best so we did spend a bit more time indoors than anticipated but that was ok with me! The fire pit right on the lake was perfect and the upstairs deck was so relaxing (especially for morning coffee). Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen & dining space was top notch. I cannot recommend this property enough! You will not be disappointed!
