Unbelievably hospitable and supportive family that helped us every day of our stay. Very clean and quiet apartment near the sea. We’re hoping to come back again and enjoy it one more time.

The place is very nice and the sea is right in front of the terrace. During our stay, we were in the approach path of the airport, which did not bother us. Our hosts were very helpful and also ordered a taxi to the airport for my grandma. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The stay was great. the apartment is really only a few minutes from the beach (on foot)! The place (Stalis) itself is very beautiful and has a lot to offer, as does the little kiosk right below the apartment. John is always very friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything!

Omg, what an amazing place! I had the best 2 nights sleep in my life! ( wish I could have stayed longer) You fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The bed and pillows are really comfy, something that is really important to me, as I’m a light sleeper. Poppi is extremely friendly. When I arrived she had cooked for me! I must have looked really hungry because it was food for about 10 people…. You have absolutely everything in this place, kitchen and bathroom is stocked with everything you need. Thank you - I’ll be back!

We would really recommend Izabela's home for a lot of reasons. We arrived, Izabela greeted us with a smile and kindness. During the stay she was able to be discreet in order to give us privacy but just as present when we needed it. I understand all the comments about Izabela, she is the best host in any country we have had. A real plus for the accommodation which is really very clean, towels, linens… smell very good! The apartment is located not far from the main avenues (5 min walk) but is located in an isolated and quiet place which is very good. Since there were no guests, we were able to stay a little later in the day. Thanks again Izabela!

we spent close to a week in this compact studio apt with the most amazing balcony space. the apt was clean, had everything needed to cook own meals, and although very close to tourist area it was exceptionally quiet. Kate was a great host, immediately available to resolve questions or help. her recommendations were spot on and appreciated. we spent many a happy hour on the beautiful balcony. we highly recommend.

Theodora’s apartment is hidden gem in Agios Nikolaos. During our stay we realized, there is no better location for families with small kids. It’s right next to beach bar with great beach, in our opinion best within the city and there is even kids playground right next to it. You have 6-7 great local restaurants within 5mins walk + 2 grocery shops. Location is very quiet. Apartment is very well equipped with all you need for shorter or even longer stay (we stayed 1month). Theodora was very friendly, responsive and helpful with anything we needed. We can only recommend her and her apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy perfect vacation. Efcharisto Theodora 👍🏻

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house has literally everything you need. The view from the balcony is stunning and the silence around the house really let us unwind. The city, the beach, a supermarket, everything is really close, if you have a car. Also Massimo and Despina are the nicest people. I would recommend this Airbnb to everyone!

House as described, clean, tidy and strategic as a location to be able to get around the area.

Linda is a very helpful, generous and friendly landlady. Communication was always quick and helpful. The apartment is exactly as described and perfectly located for trips to Heraklion, the Lassithi Plateau or the beach. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the accommodation.

George's house was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. It is exactly as you imagine a traditional Greek island cottage should be. The shuttered windows open straight out to the sea and you can walk straight out the door along the waterfront to lovely restaurants and swimming spots. Perfection.

The 2nd time we stayed with Christina. We felt very welcome again and at home. Our own cottage just outside the city center, near the beach: easily walkable or by city bus.

Such a beautiful place, we felt we were in paradise. We took our own food so didn’t try the taverna but enjoyed dinner with a beautiful view every night and two nights we lay back a star gazed for hours on the deck chairs. The “almost private “ beach was delightful and we never had anyone there with us, so for us very private …

We spent more than 2 weeks in Aspasia's house and we felt very comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was clean and we found everything we needed. Aspasia even organized a yoga mat for me. Communication with Aspasia went smoothly. The bathroom is not the latest, but you don't notice much of it because there is an outdoor shower. A cat visited us every day, we hope she continues to find food sources We also enjoyed the surroundings very much, often we were right on the beach down in Keratokampos, also partly on foot. But the beaches around are all very nice, mostly pebbles on the shore and sand towards the sea. You could snorkel in quiet weather, in the wind we have the waves. There are also two shops: minimarket, supermarket. In the supermarket, the postcards are brought to the post office on Wednesdays at noon. The restaurants are also very good, we were mostly in the taverna Christina.

We loved the stay in Agios - Maria was very nice & flexible. Supermarket, lake, sea and restaurants surrounding the flat and the apartment is very sweet with everything u need for a couple of days in Agios. Nice balcony, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Very thankful for our time here :)

We were so looked after and made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The place is wonderful- the view is amazing and everything you could need is there. It was such a comfortable place to stay. The location is also very handy for exploring Agios Nikolaos on foot, as well as other surrounding towns and sights in the area if you have a car. I would very highly recommend staying here, it was great!

This apartment is truly impressive - spotlessly clean, incredibly spacious, and very comfortable. The large balcony offers a perfect spot to relax with the sea just metres away. The bathroom has a great shower. During our stay, a few evenings were quite chilly, but the heating function on the AC unit kept us warm and cozy. Apostolis is the perfect host. He contacted us before we left the UK with clear arrival instructions, met us at the apartment, and took the time to show us everything we needed to know. He welcomed us with fruit and wine and was genuinely keen for us to enjoy our stay. When we visited Heraklion, he kindly recommended a great place to eat, and on our second morning, he surprised us with some delicious Greek sweet treats for breakfast. The only slight downside was some noise from the bars below in the bedrooms, though we were still able to sleep. However, waking up to the stunning sea view from the balcony made up for it. The room was nice and big, view from the balcony was really beautiful, pool was great and the location was the best. You can find everything you need in Istro - shops, tavernas, beautiful beaches. We loved it and we can certainly recommend!

The house was spotless and accessible to the city center. It was all close to us and the host was incredibly friendly and the house was lovely and tidy. We stayed 6 days and wanted to stay so many more.

We stayed over Christmas for 2 weeks, the apartment is really comfortable, clean and as the pictures present it. We were offered clean linens, and also left some little treats which is nice. Always really quick to respond with any queries we had. As other reviewers have commented - it is a steep walk home out of town, although we ended up going a different way most days! Also the internal stairs are tricky with big suitcases but fine otherwise - you are on the top floor after all, so it’s worth it. We always found parking on the side street. Would certainly stay again, and recommend to others. Top floor balcony gets the sun all day ☀️
