Luxury Cottage close to beach with private hot tub

JonathanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay at the Freshwater cottage was exceptional. The property was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and provided a high standard of comfort throughout. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, which offered a relaxing end to each day. The beach was conveniently within walking distance, making the location ideal. Our host, Lucy, was wonderful — she provided a detailed binder full of things to do and recommended places to visit, which was incredibly helpful. We also appreciated the thoughtful hamper of local foods that added a special touch to our arrival. Every detail had been considered to ensure a relaxing and memorable experience. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to others seeking a peaceful and well-appointed retreat.
A modern cottage exterior is illuminated at night, featuring well-maintained palm trees flanking the entrance. The brick wall is complemented by subtle lighting, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere of the front yard, which is bordered by a decorative fence.

Large modern cottage near the beach with hot tub

LizRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Fantastic cottage. Lots of lovely modern features while still feeling homely. Very convenient for beach walks, local amenities etc but still nicely out of the way. We particularly liked the few bits in the kitchen to get us started. We’ve been used to staying with Park Dean in their lodges and they are always so empty, this was much more welcoming. Jo was very easy to communicate with too. Thank you for having us, it’s been lovely.

Cosy coastal cottage

HazelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Greenbank. The house was spacious, tidy and clean, and we appreciated the extras provided by the host (towels, toiletries, tea and coffee). The property is just a short walk away from a playground , shop, pharmacy and local places to explore, which we enjoyed investigating. Our 4-year-old loved reading the children's books from around the house and the garden was a lovely spot to play in. We paid to have the hot tub, which we found easy to use and great fun. Thank you to Amy for a lovely stay.

2 Bed in Ventnor (90147)

WilliamRating, 5 stars9 months ago
lovely cottage, very peaceful and unspoilt location without the usual British seaside razzmatazz [which is available everywhere else, if you want it, all close by]. Cottage is as described, cosy and welcoming, contains everything you need plus has a hot tub. As the description says- the stairs are steep and the main town is below down a very steep hill. Parking was difficult but as the friendly gardener pointed out- we were there on bank holiday week, it's not usually that bad. Good bus service !

Colemans Retreat

NikkiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had an amazing stay at Ashley’s cottage. The kitchen/living area is absolutely beautiful and suited us as a group of friends when doing breakfast/lunch etc. Our favourite bit of the property has to be the outside area. Having an outdoor shower/toilet, hot tub, kitchen area and bbq just topped off our weekend and we spent most of our time outdoors. A few outdoor games were left in the garden and it gave a good few hours of entertainment for us too! Ashley was super inviting and was very clear with check in instructions etc. The house felt very safe & secure and we all got very good night sleep from comfortable beds. We would love to come back again next year and for years after this!! A really lovely place!

Haviland Cottage was a really lovely place to stay - clean, tidy and comfortable. Description was spot on! Beautiful house, lovely decor and very comfortable beds. Plenty of towels both for inside and the hot tub. The grounds were stunning and very well maintained. Lots of different areas - our dogs loved the outside areas. Dogs were well catered for - beds, blankets, bowls etc. Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery. Dish washer tablets and washing pods provided which was a bonus. Was a perfect getaway with our family. All so good, would highly recommend a stay here!

Kirsty’s instructions were clear allowing a fuss free arrival. Close to the village which was great. The service at the Village Inn was really good and the Sunday Lunch was amazing. Unfortunately could not say the same about The Crab. Take a visit to Kirsty’s boutique Dennis HQ. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco whilst we shopped. The staff were lovely. Perfect place to stay and would definitely stay again!

The Garden Cottage is a lovely peaceful place, set at the end of a beautiful cottage garden. It is so peaceful, with lots of birdsong and it's own garden area with a small brook running along the back. The cottage is tastefully furnished in an eclectic style, and the beds are nice and comfy. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, and there were thoughtful extras left for us, including a bottle of wine, which were a lovely touch. There are many places of interest within easy distance, with Brook beach just a short walk away. We would happily stay here again.

Private Lymington sea-view cottage in New Forest.

Pam was a fantastic host. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable. A choice of pillows made it extra cosy. The kitchen was well stocked and fresh chickens eggs were a special treat. The cottage is tucked away, un-overlooked and the only sounds are the birds singing. There’s a strawberry fields at the bottom of the road where you can PYO in summer months. We will definitely be back if we can find some available dates! Thank you for a fab stay

Estuary Cottage

FrankRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at the cottage during the week leading up to Easter and absolutely loved our time here. The surrounding landscape along the Yar estuary is so peaceful and full of wildlife, it made having a morning coffee beside the water, listening to all manner of birdsong, our favourite moment of the day. The Kings Manor grounds are gorgeous and we very much appreciated being able to play some tennis on the court by the main house. A welcome basket with goodies, friendly communication and a very uncomplicated check in/out, as well and all the wonderful places to visit on the island made this holiday truly a special experience for us. We would return in a heartbeat.

Stunning sea views at a charming character cottage

Communication was quick and easy with Natasha. Drove through New Forest and saw the wild horses, then soon at the Ferry. Ferry was very well organised and they even knew our names at the check in booth! Access was straightforward, very clean and tidy throughout. Literally less than 10 mins from ferry, but far enough away in a quiet little area. Beautiful clean cosy cottage, very comfortable living. Situated in an excellent position.Small gated garden opening out onto large grass area. Then steps down to beach and licensed cafe. Forest to left of the cottage-long walks and great views. Super dog friendly-seemed every where in the Isle of Wight-in multiple cafes, pubs and restaurants, dogs spoilt, given their own complementary treats and water!Fully recommended for a couple(s) or family get aways and even spoiling the pooch.Thank you very much for having us,we felt very welcomed and really enjoyed every minute-could quite easily live there! Hope to book with you again!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank You for a Lovely Stay, Wendy! We had such a wonderful time staying at your Airbnb from the 5th to the 9th of May. It was the perfect little getaway for me, my parents, and my baby daughter Aria. Your home was clean and so comfortable—it made a great base for exploring the Isle of Wight. We loved travelling around the island and especially enjoyed visiting the Needles at Alum Bay, the seafronts at Ryde and Shanklin, and the charm of Ventnor. It was always a pleasure to come back in the evenings and relax in such a peaceful setting. The surrounding scenery was beautiful too—we even enjoyed just strolling around the area. Thank you again for being such a thoughtful host. We truly had no complaints at all and would definitely love to return in the future. We’ll be recommending your place to friends and family!

Fisherman's Loft A Unique Cottage By The Sea

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay at Fisherman’s Loft and so glad we found this absolute gem for our holiday. David & Sarah are the perfect hosts and their attention to detail is fantastic and it feels so homely. We loved the views out to sea and despite the weather not being great we had some lovely days out across the island. We would definitely recommend a stay here to recharge and relax in the most perfect little seaside accommodation.

Brading House - Isle of Wight

RhiannonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had an amazing stay, Brading House was practically in the centre of everything we wanted to do! There were plenty of bus routes to tourist locations, like Sandown to see the pier and wildlife sanctuary, Shanklin beach and Chine, a bus runs through from Ryde to Sandown and there’s lots to do along the way, like stopping off at the Wishing Well Inn to check out the Mermaid Distillery- We had a lovely dinner at The Bugle Inn and went down to the Brading Roman Villa too.

Fisherman’s Rest - a local Fisherman’s Cottage

SamanthaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have just returned from an amazing stay at Fisherman's Rest cottage. Jacqueline was super friendly and helpful and made checking in very easy. It was an excellent location to walk to the beautiful beach nearby and had good parking outside. Jacqueline has lots of things available to make staying with a young toddler easy like a bath with toys, toys in the second bedroom and children's cutlery and a highchair! She even had a blackout blind for the spare bedroom as it was summer. We had a lovely stay and would love to go back!

Carrier Stable cottage - Great ferry discounts

KevinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Carriers Stable. It's at the end of the host's front garden, so we had a warm welcome when we arrived, they let us in and showed us where everything was. The advantage of them being on site is that they were right there when we had a couple of queries during the week - one about the broadband connection and another about a light bulb needing replacement. They were extremely helpful. The property is immaculately clean, looks just like the photos and has all of the amenities listed. It is located next to a very quiet lane which has little traffic, and you are more likely to notice the birdsong than any road noise. Brighstone is the ideal location if, like us, you prefer the western side of the island, and the cottage is perfect if there are just two of you. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there and would certainly recommend it and plan to book again ourselves the next time we go to the island.

Adorable 2 bedroom cottage on the Isle of Wight

ElizaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely and clean home which was perfect for our group (two couples). The hosts, Bella and Flo, were friendly and communicative, and made everything straightforward for us - they even gave us complimentary early check-in as we arrived earlier than expected, which we really appreciated! The check-in and check-out process was really easy. The location is right in the centre of Cowes with shops, pubs and restaurants at your doorstep, as well as the West Cowes ferry stop (we got the Red Jet from Southampton and it was extremely easy). Despite its central location, the property was quiet and peaceful. We didn’t bring a car but there is a convenient car park just across the road. We would definitely stay again!
