The fenced in backyard has plenty of space to run around, and has an awesome saltwater inground pool for fun! In addition, there is a 2 level, new deck, and patio furniture to sit and relax on. Lucy and Jerry have somehow created a cozy and quiet yet spacious home that allowed us to totally relax and rejuvenate. Staying at their home was a special treat for us and allowed us to connect with our family. I cannot speak highly enough of this serene and well appointed home. We loved the closed-in patio and enjoyed playing board games there. The safari room was a sweet space to enjoy hearing the frogs in the evening and peruse the great selection of books. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything necessary for our laundry needs. Finding the hidden nooks and spaces was delightful for us. The sheets were so soft and the beds were comfy and our sleep was excellent. This was a memorable stay and we hope to come back soon and enjoy this wonderful gem hosted by the kindest, most loving and attentive owners, Lucy and Jerry.

Catherine’s home was the perfect place for our sister’s weekend. It was easy to find, warm and welcoming. The neighborhood was stunning. Close to the river, the park, The Maritime Museum, and the CNU campus. The fully stocked kitchen and charming family room was a wonderful place for us to enjoy coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Catherine thought of every detail to make our stay relaxing and peaceful. There were many wonderful memories made this weekend. We look forward to staying again!

The entrance is in the mid-exterior of the car wash where the clients clean their cars. After you park, you have to walk with all of your luggage through the car wash's exterior (amidst client cleaning their cars) and go up many stairs. But when you enter the loft, you are extremely surprised by the beautiful, modern and clean space. Chandler was available every time I needed clarity on instructions. Bring your own food and beverages. There is a pool nearby which is available. Even though there are minimal eateries in the immediate community, there are places within short distance (mall, movies, restaurants) and there is always Virginia Beach.
