Vacation rentals with breakfast in Isle of Lewis

Catherine and Paul are very welcoming and nice. Their house offers a beautiful view and is surrounded by rabbits, sheeps and birds. The bedroom is very clean and spacious with a nice shared living room.

Really lovely home and Chrissie is a really wonderful host who gives you a window into life on the island. Beautiful location by the beach. Staying with Chrissie was a highlight of our trip.

We loved our stay at Claigan House. Maureen is an excellent host and warm and friendly person. She provided great instructions and was very responsive. The room was great and we enjoyed the great breakfast each morning. We knew it was pretty isolated and not too close to restaurants or other amenities, but it is very peaceful and close to a beautiful beach. We highly recommend this place for a stay on Isle of Skye. It is a bit of a drive from some of the major sights, but very well worth it.

Maureen's welcome was so nice. Her house is absolutely stunning and our bedroom was beyond our expectations. She had several welcome experiences set up for us which were wonderful. A la carte breakfasts were fabulous, keeping hunger at bay well into the late afternoons early evening. Could not wish for a better location for our discovery of beautiful North West Skye. Our one disappointment was that we only had 2 nights at Maureen's. Highly, highly recommended.

This was a perfect stay. Easy to get checked in, everything was very clean and well organized. It was a very convenient location to the Quiraing. The hosts were fantastic! Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Isabel and Stuart’s place on the Isle of Skye. It’s centrally located—perfect for exploring all parts of the island. Both were wonderful hosts, and we had lots of nice, funny chats with them. They shared great recommendations, and breakfast with homemade bread and jam was a nice touch. We also enjoyed meeting their adorable dog, Pippin! Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful stay and Alasdair was the perfect host, going out of his way to make our stay a magical one. The location is extraordinary and the house is as warm and accommodating as the host. Highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Glenview. The room was very clean and cosy, big enough, with a very comfortable bed. We had our own private bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and very filling. Kirsty and her husband were very friendly and recommended some really beautiful places to see. We recommend staying at the Glenview wholeheartedly.

We had a wonderful stay at Lochbay. The room was beautiful and well appointed and bed very comfortable. Vicky gave us a delicious homemade breakfast with her own granola and other tasty treats from the dining room with a stunning view over Lochbay. Both John and Vicky had some excellent advice to give us in terms of walks and we were enchanted by their friendly dog. We felt very welcome and will definitely return. Thank you both for a perfect stay.

Stoney Cottage is everything you hope an Airbnb will be. Check‑in was effortless. Christine and William were warm, genuine hosts whose passion for the Highlands shines through every interaction. Each morning they treated us to a beautifully prepared breakfast and provided recommendations based on our interest - each one a gem. The cottage is spotless, beautiful, and snug with windows that frame crofts where Highland cows and sheep graze near the river; our kids loved it and took to naming their new “neighbors.” On the day we left, Christine and William surprised our kids with plush cow and sheep that haven’t left their sides since — reciprocating the stuffed animal our daughter made them for our stay. We felt thoroughly cared for yet free to enjoy the space as our own, and we left with full hearts and wonderful memories. Stoney Cottage earns an easy five stars, and we can’t recommend it enough. P.S. St Columba’s Isle is right down the road and worth a visit!

We had such an amazing experience at Glyn’s home, can’t say enough about the cozy, comfortable room and the beautiful views from our windows. Communication-clear and prompt. Amazing host-quick to offer recommendations when requested and a delightful conversationalist. We appreciated the remote location and felt like the stunning views were worth having to drive a bit to get to restaurants and activities on the island. Also can’t say enough about the generous breakfasts he serves each morning-delicious and a great start to the day.

We had a wonderful stay with Morag, we felt very welcome straight away and really enjoyed the beautiful homemade granola, bread and shortbread! There were some lovely walks straight from the house and we made the most of the lovely weather we had by exploring as much as possible! It's an amazing location for wildlife and we loved how our stay was contributing to bird of prey charities. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone who loves wildlife.

Helen was such a great host. She baked at least five different treats and set up an entire breakfast buffet for just the two of us. We couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome. Thank you for having us Helen.

Just wow - Rosie’s place is nothing short of exceptional. The house is decorated so beautifully and the location is completely perfect, just on the river where you can watch birds and otters from the sofa. Rosie put on an amazing breakfast each morning, which was absolutely delicious. We will absolutely come back to this delightful home.
