Wonderful stay with Eldys and his family. Their place is so peaceful and relaxing, it’s a bit outside of the town of Playa Larga, which is why we chose it. Very walkable to town but quieter. Eldys spent the day with us bringing us beaches and outings, he was so generous. Like the reviews have mentioned, the WiFi isn’t great but that’s not their fault, it’s a good place to be disconnected and relax.

i spent 3 weeks in Cuba and Ely and Jose were absolutely kind and amazing to us. The space was very clean with a more than comfortable bed! Despite the electrical interruptions, that didn't stop us from taking hot showers with a beautiful sunset view! we had a magical stay and breakfast was super good, Ely is a very good cook:) We got closer during our stay and we laughed a lot, it was very nice! I would definitely stay again.

To stay with Bombo is to become a part of his family, and what an absolute privilege that was. I was very sad to leave Playa Larga, and my memories of his smile, his secret handshake, the generosity and hospitality of his wife will live a long time in my memory- proof indeed that kindness is still prevalent in the human condition. This has not just been a wonderful place to stay, it has been like a family to me. Barby and Arturo and the whole family treated me like I was one of them. We spent hours in the porch looking at the stars and chatting. Every neighbor would stop to chat with them and they will make sure to include you in the conversation. The beach is very close and the room has all you need. Communication with Barby is great and she would do anything to help. I really enjoyed my stay. I would definitely come back.

We had a great stay at Otto’s place, the vibe in Playa Larga was great, the house is clean and quiet, a few meters from a picture-perfect beach, and Otto and his family welcomed us warmly. Otto gave us great tips for family-friendly nature trips nearby and breakfast was excellent. We warmly recommend!

We had a great stay. The room was spotless (and cleaned immaculately every day we stayed) with a comfy bed and partial sea views from the terrace/dining area in front of the room. Our hosts couldn’t have been more helpful, including proactively suggesting we combine our flamingo watching trip with another couple which saved everyone money and helping us book a collectivo to our next destination despite it being Christmas Eve. We enjoyed the tasty breakfasts and also agreed with them a slightly different cheaper evening meal option with more veg which was absolutely perfect for us. We had a great stay and would highly recommend!
