it was super great, the arrival adventurous. Unfortunately, we were only able to stay 1 night organizationally ( clearly not enough)
A view of the ocean is captured from a distance, showcasing waves breaking against rocky formations and sandy shores. A wooden fence runs along the foreground, complementing the serene coastal landscape and clear blue sky.

Tranquility Psj

Pieter's place has an amazingly peaceful view and walking access to the long Pondoland beaches. He was friendly and helpful with local knowledge and a love for the ocean. The place was clean, kitchen well equipped, and felt safe. Port Saint Johns has those Wild Coast cliffs and a roaring ocean you can hear from the window. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this place.

Need a good car, very muddy. There were some flaws in cleanliness. But the view and the amazing people made up for it. The cleaning lady was such a lovely person.Good person. The caretaker of the property was so helpful. loved this village .fell in love with this property. what an amazing place. worth it. Made some friends, humble people in this village. Even fell inlove with a cute adorable dog. Lots of walking but worth it. It's a paradise ........ Hope to go back again soon.
A natural rock formation at the edge of a small waterfall is visible, with water cascading over its surface. Lush green grasses surround the water's edge, and dramatic rocky cliffs can be seen in the background, indicating the rugged terrain of the area.

This place is for those who like uncluttered and uncomplicated vacations where one can slow right down and enjoy a stress-free pace to the daily routine. It was great to spend time in the middle of Mboyti village but to still have the privilege of access to running water, hot showers, clean and spacious accommodation and a short walk to spectacular beaches. A wonderful Wild Coast experience.

Sleepy Hollow Cottage, Mngcibe

RichRating, 5 stars25 months ago
Sleepy Hollow is a really typical Transkei getaway. There is no doubt it is very rustic and not recommended if that's not your cup of tea. Having said that, it has electricity, internet, a great water collection and pumping system, a flushing loo, a spotless shower, a built in braai and kitchen with a fridge and freezer and a gas stove plus all the cutlery crockery and utensils you need. We spent many hours chilling on the deck, reading books and drinking G&T's or walking on the beach collecting shells. The hike to Lwandile was well worth it. We left feeling properly relaxed and suitably plugged out from the hustle and bustle. We also ate enough crayfish to feed an army! Not taking away from the amazing holiday, be aware of the following: - It is very remote - It has 3 bedrooms and a deck open on all side, so when it rains there is nowhere to congregate - It is a fair walk to the beach and the closest swimming beach is a bit of a car mission. Thanks for a great holiday:-)
