Vacation rentals with breakfast in Ishikawa

We had no trouble finding the hotel from the train. It was a walking distance and it was quite a lovely walk because you see all the different stores and restaurants. We arrived early so we rested in the lounge and then went shopping and had lunch. Finally, our room was ready and we were very impressed with the decor as well as a cleanliness. We especially loves the outdoor onsen which made you feel really relaxed as you listen to the birds. Our next night was with another Iori property so they transported our luggage to the next destination (so that we didn’t have to lug it around on the bus). Overall, we would be returned!

What an amazing place - it was the most authentic & unique stay we had during our trip to Japan. The house is huge and has tons of traditional Japanese character. It’s located in a tiny mountain village, with stunning walks on the doorstep. The host Shinji was incredibly welcoming - we booked dinner for our family and it was a brilliant experience. We loved sitting by a traditional hearth and eating locally sourced & freshly prepared dishes. Traditional onsen bath was a cherry on top. Overall a brilliant, quintessential Japan experience - I’d recommended anyone staying here if you can.

Teru-san was a tremendous host and his place was clean, comfortable and cosy. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable and had a wonderful view. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Teru-san also has a little bar downstairs, Izakaya, that serves local delicacies and plenty to drink. His place is a short walk from the wonderful streets of Takayama. We will gladly recommend his place to friends and family. Thank you!!

My stay at Soku's place "GAO" was very nice. It was relatively central and you could do a lot around his accomodation and most of the places were walkable or easy to get to by bike. The room itself was very traditional with Tatami mats, which I really liked. When I had a little accident which made it hard for me to walk, Soku immediately offered his help to get me walking as quickly as possible again. Also if you are here you can make a nice 1-day trip to Shirakawa in the mountains. Beautiful little village. Takes about 3-4 hours if you take your time.

HOUSEHOLD is an absolute pearl! We spent two nights in the former Obi factory, discovering first the little details of the place, and later the closer surroundings of Himi town. The room we have stayed in was on the top floor and was wonderful—overlooking the misty Toyama Bay, we fell asleep to the sound of the waves and woke up to the morning sun. The food and coffee we were served were just impeccable, the recommendations for lunch and dinner were sincere and outstanding. We were able to go fishing one afternoon together with the owner Natsumi-san and had an absolutely great time! There is a huge kitchen to use (f.ex. to grill your caught fish), but there are many other things to do (library) and events (café, cooking courses, …) to attend. The entire team of HOUSEHOLD is very competent, funny, and incredibly kind.

Wonderful experience staying at Villa Mitoreya. It's not your usual Airbnb, it's a lot more. The house is amazingly built with beautiful views and Tsuyoshi was an excellent host. He was present to welcome us, he went out of his way to drive us to a nearby restaurant so we didn't have to worry about parking and having a drink. His breakfast were delicious with many small details. It was like having a personal chef at home. We really enjoyed the peaceful environment and watching the local train pass in front of the house. It was like being in a Ghibli movie.

Die Wohnung besteht aus drei Zimmern, die man mit Schiebetüren voneinander trennen kann. Es gibt einen verbindenden Gang, dort befindet sich auch das Waschbecken. Zimmer gibt es zudem eine Mikrowelle, sowie Geschirr und Besteck. Als wir da waren, gab es kein Frühstück im angrenzenden Café, dafür Brot, Joghurt und Kaffee im Zimmer. Man kann das fantastische, darunter liegende Badehaus kostenfrei nutzen, zudem außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten eine Dusche (das haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen). Insgesamt eine sehr praktische Wohnung für Familien, gut gelegen und ruhig von sehr netten Betreibern.
