A spontaneous booking on the same day was still possible and the house was super cozy and had everything you needed. If you can watch your head and a toilet over the courtyard doesn't bother you, you should drive the extra mile to stay here!

Beautiful and cosy, central oslo

WiktoriaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Beautiful ‘tiny’ home, felt just perfect for a short stay! Everything is so accessible via public transport, only a few minutes walk from bus stop and surrounded by stunning parks. Rannveig was extremely kind and chatty, provided us with lots of local recommendations for our stay in Oslo! Johan was always responsive to any questions or queries that we had. 5⭐️ for the heated bathroom floor!! We would definitely stay here again (just be cautious of the steep stairs to the bedroom lol) Thank you for your hospitality☺️

All was quite satisfactory. We have hardly heard from the host What you notice and a lot of privacy even though you lived across the street. The bathroom was cleaned every 2 days and fresh towels were also provided. The location was good because you could reach everything in about 2 hours by car

Stabburet

Irina ChristinRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Although we booked really last minute (8:30 pm, with arrival 10:15 pm) there were no problems. Morten greeted us at the property and showed us everything. We had neither bed linen nor towels with us, but that was not a problem, it was provided to us at no extra charge although this service is not mentioned anywhere. The place itself is from 1715 and yes, you can tell. The wooden floor and the rest of the wooden house works. But that makes the experience all the more beautiful. We recommend this place.

Traditional cabin with a view, electricity and water

PhilipRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The cabin was a convenient location to access Rondane National Park. Very quiet location with fantastic views. The cabin was rustic but very comfortable and cosy. It had everything you needed. If you don't visit during school holidays you need to shop before arriving because the only store only opens then. We appreciated the folder in the cabin, it had lots of useful information. We did several of our hikes directly from the cabin. We would highly recommend the cabin for its unique character and location.

Charming forest cabin, great for families with children.

Paul CollinRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We rented the cottage with 3 friends for hiking to enjoy a quiet week in nature. It was perfect for this. The hut is secluded on a forest lake, is easy to reach on foot (700m from the car) and corresponds exactly to the description. In the surrounding area, you can hike wonderfully on a variety of single trails and even on rainy days there is a lot to see in the area. In the evening, you can enjoy your time at the campfire, barbecue or relax in the hut in front of the fireplace. Overall, a great experience!

Idyllic cabin close to nature.

CathrinRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We spent Christmas and New Year in Merete's little cabin and absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was really cozy and clean, it is simple but we found everything we needed and more. We really loved the wood-fired stove in the cabin and the candles - coziness overload! 😊 The sauna was great as well! We went for a little hike in the beautiful surrounding woods, had a walk in town and went to Fulufjällets Nationalpark in Sweden for a hike. Merete was really easy to reach via message and communication with her was really nice and easy. We can totally recommend the cabin for everyone looking for a remote and simple place to stay and we'd love to come back again for another stay.
